To be fair on Cheryl she co-wrote and co-produced a lot of her album, and played piano on it.

He was interviewed in More magazine last week and he comes across a real nice guy, who doesn't take himself seriously at all. What's important is that he is very good live, is a nice guy, writes his own lyrics (no matter how crap they may be) and has good beats on his songs. Full marks for Tinie then.

Come on, who didn't laugh the first time they heard Pass Out when he said "I got so many clothes I keeps 'em at ma aunts house" or the now infamous "Would you risk it for a chocolate biscuit" line in Frisky? ”

I agree with this. I remember when Frisky premiered on Radio 1, and afterwards Zane Lowe spoke to Tinie on the phone and he said "as you can probably tell I'm having a lot of fun, I want to make music that doesn't have to sound any certain way and I'm enjoying myself." So I think he knows his lyrics aren't the most inspiring, but he has released 2 undeniably huge songs with wide appeal. And musically he has more of an edge than the likes of Tinchy Stryder and Chipmunk etc. Although I suppose that does owe a lot to working with a hotly-tipped producer.

How on earth is Tinie Tempah not an artiste? His work not being your cup of tea doesn't mean he isn't...

We're led to believe she's a fashion icon, a model, a role model, a solo artist, a girl band member, a judge, a mentor, plays piano, writes songs and produces albums. You can believe that if you want but it's not for me. Essentially she's a marketable product and is whatever her handlers want her to be.

Don't get rude with me, I'm just stating facts, and I'm not even a fan of Cheryl

If you can't handle a differing opinion, don't post. Simple.

You have a habit of getting oversensitive and rolling your eyes unnecessarily, Lol. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...56&postcount=9

Oh, I can handle differing posts alright. But rude people? I like to handle them, more than not

And it's nice to know you're stalking my posts. You know what they say, "They're always gonna watch and talk about you, might as well give 'em something to talk about."

So my advice to you would be: GET A LIFE.

Rather than starting arguments and following other FM's old posts. And I wouldn't call one other use of the eye roll a "habit".

But still, how sad are you, remembering one of my old posts.....

Chart music does not interest me the slightest these days and hasn't done for at least 5 years. All sounds the same to me and i don't even know who half these 'artists' are (hardly call most of them artists either). I just have my own taste in music and listen to new stuff i find on spotify

I'm 24 today but I'm not trying to turn this thread into a happy birthday thread for me.

I honestly don't like any of the songs that have been #1. I don't even recognise some of them. Does that mean I'm getting old? If I was ten years younger I wonder if I'd like this rubbish.

I'd disagree with that actually. Fair enough, a massive album like Gaga, Paolo Nutini, JLS etc. obviously means a lot - but most #1 albums these days seem to top the chart with shockingly low sales and then plummet never to be seen again. The recent albums by Diana Vickers and Keane spring to mind - they were just lucky.

Yeah! It's all total rubbish because we say it is! Anyone who likes it is an idiot! We're real music fans!

2010 has been a terrible year for no.1's so far ALL of these throw-away R&B tracks sound exactly the same, and there's just no skill involved in producing them. I hope this particular music fad dies out soon.

I have liked #1s that would not be considered "real music" before. I have downloaded songs that would not be considered real music in the last week. Musically I'm not trible. There is plenty of real music that I don't like.

Yeah right! I can't tell the difference alot of the time! same song structure, same tempo, hell- pretty much the same tune just with slightly different lyrics!

I really hope so too it does my head it when i go out in town as thats all they seem to play.

Nothing to do with age or songs being 'rubbish or garbage'. I'm old enough to be your mother (if I was a chav ) and I love the Tinie Temper, Dizzee Rascal, Roll Deep, Usher and BOB songs.

Before anyone says it, no, i'm not a chav, don't own a pitbull, wear my hair in a Croydon facelift etc. I'm actually a middle aged, middle class career woman who is also partial to a bit of classical and opera music as well as old soul and dance music.

Honestly, when you get to my age, you give up caring what is cool or not and just roll with it and like a song for being a nice bit of entertainment, nothing more or less than that.
