I don't mind defending her, but some people get really nasty about it on here. I can understand that people don't think she is original and that she is manufactured and all the rest, and they are entitled to that opinion. But out of all the artists out there for some reason on here people seem to really hate her and her fans and I don't get why. Every artist has their fair share of crazy obsessive fans, but for some reason all Gaga fans are tarred with the same brush. Apparently, we want to "kill" any one who dares to criticise her, we think she invented the music video and pop music and was the first to do everything. I'd say only a small minority of fans actually think that way.
I don't understand why Gaga herself gets so much hate directed towards her as well. She never bitches about other artists or people, she never claimed to be 100% original, in fact she said in an interview a week or so ago that being original is something she is still working on, she sends out a great message in that you should be yourself and don't be afraid not to fit in, she's puts in loads of effort into her performances, music videos, tours, always sings live, she's very pro gay rights and acceptance as well, which is evident from her music videos and lyrics. There are a hell of a lot of worse artists out there, yet she and her fans get so much hate.
I enjoy her music and think she is a great person who loves her fans and a lot of people can't accept that and try to turn me against her for what ever reason and to be quite honest I am sick to death of it. i love this song - it's my favourite gaga song
But I'm worried that because it's third single of a successful album that it wont recieve the chart placing it deserves. So far, on itunes etc, it hasnt seemed to have gathered the momentum that telephone did upon it's music video release What placing will it get? I'm hoping top 5 (though it should be number one)

And how many Madonna fans invade Gaga videos and post, "She's copying madonna", "She's no madonna", "this is a rip off of madonna's song ____"? "Madonna is the queen of pop!" ?
Loads and loads, doesn't mean all her fans think that. There are millions of gaga fans all around the world, I don't think some comments on some youtube videos represent all of them. Her fans on here certainly aren't like that and as some members who make such stereotypes are regular posters on here they should know that, yet they still tar us all with the same brush because it suits them to.
I don't see why I should have to keep defending her and justifying why I am a fan in every single thread about her. If people don't like her then fair enough they are entitled to, but it's the same bunch of people time and time again coming in to every thread about her just to pick fights with her fans and slag her and them off.
Like I said before, I can't stand Pixie Lott, if I see a thread about her new song or music video I don't go on there and argue with her fans about why I don't like her and why I think the song is crap. Because I respect that they are her fans and maybe they want to just discuss her and her music video without having to defend her and argue with me.
If this thread was about why someone doesn't like Gaga or they think she is fake or they don't like her music, then fair enough, but this thread is clearly about her new music video. If you (this is a general you) can't stand her then why bother coming on just to slag her and her fans off? I'm sure most fans on here would not and do not have a problem with criticisms of her and the video and would quite happily discuss them, but I'm sure most are pretty sick of the same old Gaga "haters" coming on every thread just to say the same old crap and cause arguments.
I'm starting to develop a little admiration for Gaga fans. Never seen such dedication you guys really are buying into this Gaga thing. Even though I still hate the bitch!
