No, obviously it's not... but it's obvious Katy is criticising on the grounds of the video being offensive to some people, when that's exactly what she was seen by many to of done with her debut single.

She's actually a pretty good songwriter. Wrote a few songs for Kelly Clarksons last album, I Do Not Hook Up is decent, whilst Long Shot is one of Kellys best songs imo.

Shes a very good song writer, she wrote thinking of you on her first album by herself, and that song is just amazing.

Yeah, but when most people don't like someone or something someone they don't really know has done, they say it behind closed doors (like I imagine Lady Gaga does), they don't go posting it on facebook or twitter for the other people and that person to see. It's childish, rude and attention seeking, which is how Katy Perry has come across.

Fair enough she doesn't like Lady Gaga's video, why does she feel the need to post that on twitter for everyone and Lady Gaga to see? She hasn't even got the guts to actually address it to Lady Gaga or mention her in the tweet (if she's not talking about her then I'll take it back, but I'm 99% sure she is). When "normal" people do this kind of stuff on facebook and whatever it is looked down upon, don't see why it should be any different because she is a celebrity.

There's posting an opinion and there is being bitchy and hyprocritical, which is what she was doing, attention seeking as well tbh. She has her opinions fair enough, she knew there was going to be a backlash and media attention if she posted them on twitter.

If I don't like something someone has done, my first thought isn't "Oh I'll go and post about it on facebook for everyone and that person to read.". There's an old saying, if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all. It doesn't make her look good for posting that and might lose her a few fans tbh.

Perez isn't her official spokesperson, just because he is an associate of her's doesn't mean she agrees with his every word. I don't think they are even friends anyway, don't think she replies to any of his tweets or ever mentions him and I can't remember them being seen together more than a few times early 2009. He likes to make out they are best friends, but they aren't, he's more of an obsessive fan than a friend.

Yes I agree it appears that Katy is being hypocritical but saying she isn't talented is ridiculous.

She's one of the best singer-songwriters imo. Listen to the lyrics of Thinking Of You. I've never heard a pop song as great as that lyrically and she wrote the WHOLE song.

She's nowhere near the best technical singer but she's still a great one. Her tone and vocals ooze charisma and she's a fantastic performer.

Oh and btw, a girl kissing another girl doesn't make her a lesbian. The fact that one of the lyrics "I hope my boyfriend don't mind it" kinda proves that.
