So she is to be blamed for Perez's behaviour! Totally unfounded! I have plenty of friends who say stuff that I think is too harsh or wrong and I might tell them what I think but I dont get involved. Its better Gaga doesnt get involved! It will only give more publicity to the feud! And she was the one bullied at her school, she looks and sounds vulnerable so a bully?! Not at all.

I fail to see anywhere in your post where you comment on the OP. The thread is about Katy Perry criticising Lady Gaga's video, not about Christina Aguilera.

But that wasnt all of us! Please dont paint us with the same brush! I have never said that Leona, christina, madonna or kylie or any other out there performer has copied Gaga. And in my personal opinion, the alejandro video has some nods to Madonna but is very much a Gaga video in that it has some totally new ideas and images in it! We are not all like those crazy Gaga fans who will say everyone copied her, thats only a few who make a lot of noise!
You guys do know Perez doesn't even write for that site anymore? He has some minions write it for him, I don't think he's touched it since the Michael Jackson incident, so I'd take everything you read on there with a few bags of salt. I doubt he even looks at what the people are writing, at the end of the day, it's all under his name and he's the one getting most of the $$$.

Yes those lyrics aren't up to much and I think anyone is within their rights to criticise it. However, it does seem rather tacky and hypocritical of Katy Perry to criticise Lady Gaga for essentially being deliberately provocative and controversial, especially in such a public yet cowardly way. If she had such a problem with Gaga's video, why not just come out and say it? I fail to see why 'blasphemy' as a way of getting column inches is any worse than Perry's faux lesbianism and habit of getting her boobs out for the lads, anyway.

Lady Gaga fans hate on anyone who doesn't accept that she invented the music video, created the blonde fringe, and is avant-garde (though only after her original image flopped completely and she did a major overhaul for her first big album).
