Hmm. See, I still think it's far, far too early to claim that this series is ruined, isn't it?
Do we actually know that this series is the exact same format as previous series? There's been talk of a revamp and I can't imagine a revamp is just a reshuffle of the professional dancers. I'm not going to pretend I'm 100% on board with what I've learnt so far, but as far as we know the show could be a different animal this series (not that I actually think it should be - I don't subscribe to the theory that last year was that rubbish) - so I'm going to wait and see. And to be honest, even if it's awful this year, there's no way I'd stop watching... ![]() ![]() ![]() I've seen a lot of comments over DS about DWTS being better than Strictly... really? I know for one that I'd be sad if Strictly became too much like DWTS - for me it's Strictly by numbers done in a way that I just don't think has any of the heart of SCD. Very slick and professional, but... missing something. |

After Ian had to pull out of the competition due this his dance partner, Jade Johnson's injury last year, I was looking forward to seeing him competiting again this year. He was my favourite pro dancer in the show and I am disgusted that he has now been dropped from the regular line-up.

Let them do a show about the sarch for some competent BBC managers: "The Quest for Sanity".
Talk about flogging a dead horse - that would be like looking for a needle in an enormous haystack! |
