By a long way!

Darren- series two, series two Christmas special, series six Christmas special
Lilia- series three, series three Christmas special, series five Christmas special, 2009 Pro/Celeb tour

I'm not sure if any other pro has won more than one trophy.

They've always been shown as good teachers too. Darren Gough is full of praise for Lilia.

Before I say what I am going to say I would like to say that I do like Erin a lot.

I supported Austin and Erin in series 6 I wanted them to lift the trophy however his Tango with Lilia on the pro/celeb tour this year was absolutely spectacular, she added and extra something to it. Also she was perfect with Julian the year before......allowing him to 'abuse' her for comic value.

I hope she and Darren dont decide to give strictly a miss and I will miss them.

Darren and Lilia have proved their abilities as coaches, choreographers and dancers on the show. They are also experienced at show dances and organising productions. If they dont hire them, it will basically indicate that the producers have lost the plot.

The current information we have could still work - in my opinion, but it depends on the quality of celebs being better, and the Show dancers being given enough time, budget and freedom to produce the goods.

We have seen a Hip Hop flavoured Samba from Matt and Aliona, and a ballet flavoured Jive from Ian and Darcey. That is the way I think they can stretch the boundaries. I dont want to see non-ballroom related dances such as Street, unless they are in the form of a flavour to ballroom or latin.

We need a better Strictly, not a changed one.

I will honestly cry if they don't come back.

I HATE the Beeb for doing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully they will be in every single pro dance if they do decide to come back.

They are Sure, they've had a long run on the show, but they are two of the best choerographers, teachers and performers on the show and if they decide to leave all together it will be a huge loss! (Same applies to Matthew and Ian!)

That said, I really wouldn't blame any of them if they decided to work and concentrate on their own projects...

Julian certainly took to Lilia, judging from his reaction to the changes:
Quote:
“Speaking on The 5 O'Clock Show about the shake-up, Clary commented: "I can't believe it. They keep getting it slightly wrong, don't they? Last year it was Arlene Phillips."

The 51-year-old, who took part in the show's second series, said that he was particularly disappointed over the decision to remove Kopylova from the main lineup of professionals.

He explained: "She's such a brilliant dancer and a brilliant teacher. I danced with Lilia on the Strictly tour and she's a scream."”

Just maybe its time to admit that they are both not as fit as they used to be.

I mean as good as Alan Shearer was you would want him to lead the England attack tomorrow

Posting that in one thread, maybe we can all stick it as a joke, but no need to infiltrate the threads where people are trying to have constructive discussion

Alan Shearer decided to quit football he wasn't forced out by producers who have no idea what they are doing.

If Lilia & Darren wanted to leave that is one thing but removing the two pros who have some of the best record on strictly is another.

Lilia & Darren have been sidelined for years getting awful partners and even last year when they were one of the first couples out they didn't do as many solo pro dances as they should have. The way the BBC has treated them is disgusted to be honest.

They are two of the best dancers, choreographers and teachers and it is strictly's and the bbc loss if they don't come back.

I think the success of Latin Fever could be good for them and get them work elsewere!

I will miss them dreadfully what is the Beeb playing at.

I could see darren and Lilia - being mentors for all the couples, and doing the choreography for the pro-dances and for the group pro/celeb dances

Is it too early to start the "Lilia is pregnant" rumour ?

My only fear is that Lilia might console herself and seek refuge in the biscuit tin

Is it because they are short ? They have trouble getting the right celeb partners for them ?

Ola's short, Kristina's short, Flavia and Vincent are both short...

If that was the case surely they would be better binning Vincent and Flavia who are both shorter. Vincent's so short he's struggled to lift previous dance partners. Whereas Darren lifted Letitia Dean about like she was light as a feather.
