I think its funnier because they are being nasty to him, its winding them up, making them paranoid and sending them mad lol its revenge served up in a nice happy way which cant make him look bad (in all fairness tho some forum members would find a way). I was taught this working in customer service, by being nasty to them you are giving them reason to complain, by being nice and funny what can they say 'im annoyed cuz so and so is being nice to me' lol. Mental revenge is more effective than all out arguing, especially when you have the intelligence to back it up, I think what he is doing is great

I do agree I like what he's doing, I just find it to unpleasant to watch them being nasty to him regardless. He's shown he can take it though.

The way I choose to look at it is, he obviously is laughing it off, anyone else would have walked by now, he hasnt. He is there to enjoy being on BB and nothing is going to stop him from doing that. Yes he has had down days but who wouldn't in there with those nutters.
He always recovers not long afterwards and he has also learned now not to show them when he is down or when they have got to him. He is handling this very well and he is always up for a laugh at all hours of the day or night. Yes it must be upsetting hearing them all bitch about him, but there is only so much you can take, you either walk away and out of the house or you stay and laugh it all off. I honestly believe his giggle fits the past few days is him laughing at how stupid they are all being and how ridiculous the situation is,
What i'm trying to say is, we know he will have enjoyed his experience in there wether he wins or not, he is there to be on BB and he has achieved it. They constantly try and get him out and he defeats them everytime. Mario is an absolute diamond in a house full of sh*t.

You're right G .He has had a lot to contend with in the house,far more than most and he has come out of it stronger. He has lost that neediness which was holding him back. I see quite a change in him. He is not having to try to cope it is coming naturally. Maybe he is just feeling pleased with himself.

Yes I agree totally. I think the protective side of me just can't bear it when they're nasty to him, but his attitude to it is inspiring.

Their hostility towards him is because he always wins when they want him to fail and continues to smile when they try and bring him down. He is a better person than them and will still be even if he gets evicted before all of them. They'll think of it as a victory, but he'll still be happy in himself rather than carrying the bitterness they seem to harbour.

I get upset when they constantly insult him too but he is far more intelligent than most of them are, he is having the time of his life and stuff everybody else, this was his dream and he is living it, I dont think a group of childish idiots are gunna shatter his dream for him. He still has that constant look of excitement everytime he goes to the DR! He is loving it and im so proud of him that he has not let them get to him.

I love how they all say 'he is going for airtime' I dont see it like that I see it as him enjoying the experience to the full knnowing he wont get chance to again. The others will look back on their time there and will regret so much of what they did or didnt do. Mario won't as he has experienced the lot.

I just can't understand why Mario always gets a bad edit on the HL Shows, he tries to do what he can to not upset anyone in the house, but in return he gets constantly bullied all day from Dave and especially Mr. Nobody John Joe.

And because of not showing any of that in the daily shows, Mario also get bashed all over the BB forums.

I just wonder what has he done, to deserve to be threatened like this? Did BB hope they would get rid of him sooner?

Even now in the middle of the night, while Dave is f***g angry about the duvet-duo he suddenly starts bitching about moley again.

I really hope Mario makes his way to the final, as he really deserves it!

It's puzzled me for some time just why BB edit the nicest hm in there in a bad way.

But perhaps the answer is right there in the word "nicest". They do not like nice and have been keen to promote their idea of what gets people tuning in for awhile now - i.e fauxmances and bullies.

It will get some people tuning in, but does seem to turn off the more decent, more mature viewer. Hence the reduced audience. Too many probably feel uncomfortable and annoyed at the amable hms being shafted, just as we do over lovely Mario's treatment.

He really is worth a lot more than the rest of them put together and they know it which is why they resent him and the fact that all their plotting against him has so far failed because:

1. He is ace at the s/r tasks.
2. he is stronger than he looks and hasn't been bullied out.

It must be SO frustrating for them haha!

Mario's mettle has been tested a lot more than anyone else's in there imo and he has risen to the challenge.

I don't think they can upset him as much now because he sees that they are horrible people and not worth his friendship. Initially, he wanted them to like him. Now he realises they are not there to make friends but to win.

He'd have saved himself a lot of heartache if he'd seen through their falseness sooner but he has now and doesn't care about what most of them think whatsoever, apart from the 2 or 3 in there he genuinely gets on with.

He must feel quite liberated and pleased that he is a thorn in the sides of certain desperate hms in there

I don't think he realises completely either.

Dave really guilt tripped poor Mario last week, calling him Judas etc. imo making Mario believe that he (Dave) was one of his best friends in the house. And that's why he's so desperate to mend the friendship now.

What he doesn't know of course is that while Dave was acting as if he'd been stabbed through the heart, Dave had actually nominated him. I think Mario would be really upset to know how two-faced Dave is being. But knowing what a kind hearted soul Mario is, and how he likes to 'look for the good in people', he'd probably still want to mend fences.

Mario also, however, said he was going to start playing the game now, so maybe he also wants to keep Dave on side to avoid being nominated next week.

I really would like Dave gone this Fri. No-one else used to call Mario 'mole' that much, but since Dave has been going on and on about it, loads of them have now jumped on the band wagon, Even Steve called him 'molesuit' when nominating him. Now if I was Mario I'd find that really annoying.

BTW thought Mario was totally brilliant in the memory task.

Mario's had a fantastic week overall. He's aced the tasks, he's a heck of a lot more relaxed without Ben and he has a strong new set of friends in Corin, Andrew and Sam. I'm glossing over the S&R, I found their bathroom chat very mature and extremely moving. <-- Happy
