That's the difference between Mario and the others isn't it. He can make it clear to someone that they are annoying him without having to throw his toys out of the pram.

He has an endearing boyish quality to him but also has a very mature side which is very refreshing.

He's still in the top few housemates in the betting. He's just not in the spotlight anymore, and no-one has even left the house yet so of course his odds would drift a little after the mole task.
I think yesterday's highlights show were the first where we saw virtually nothing of him, it's bound to happen once in awhile. The editors would do well to focus on the group of Mario, Dave, Sunshine and Ben as the nicer, underdog group.
Mario is probably not going anywhere for awhile and no-one can win it until the end, so he's doing a good job so far.

It's a good thing imo not to always be the focus of the h/l shows because people get bored of a hm when that happens.

If Mario can avoid arguments over silly things he'll also doubtless continue to avoid being nommed. Think the only real danger is if Shabby stays as she seems intent on dividing the house and could try to turn her group against him as she has placed him as being in the smalller group which she will be targetting if she stays.

Better go and place a few votes to evict her then I think.

With her gone, I don't think the group thing will be quite such an issue as she, perhaps Govan too, are the driving forces for creating seperate camps.

What I really dread is another anticlimactic block voting situation like we've had in the the last two years - it kills all sense of excitement and true competition and robs us of interesting hms. I hate it when hms don't get nommedmerely because of belonging to the bigger gang.

I agree, he ended up getting alot of hate for just doing the mole task. Now it's ended he'll lose some of the love but also some of the hate, so I guess it all balances itself out. His odds were on a bit of a drift since the mole task, but now they seem to have finally fixed themselves and he's still in the top few housemates to win.

Just now a thread about the dwindling Mario-love has shown up on the main forum. Hope to see some of you defending Mario against people calling him a drip and boring.

I just think Mario hasn't been involved in the arguments that have been going on this week, so therefore hasn't featured a great deal on the h/ls.

I think he has a real shot of making the final because he doesn't annoy the hms and isn't doing anything to turn the viewers against him. Hms like Ben and JJ have a good fan base for example but they also have plenty of folk ready to vote them out if they are up for eviction.

At the very least I think Mario will be around for many weeks and will remind viewers of his likeability and good sense of fun again in the not too distant future

I am quite unsure of how this will go.I think Mario has settled for Ben just being a friend,however Ben is beginning to step up his affection for Racheal and she is starting to notice. Mario has made no secret of his feelings for Ben,Ben is flirting with him.It all now depends on if and when Ben makes a move on Racheal,that is what will test Mario.If he passes the test then he is in with a big chance to make the final.I think it is a good thing that he has not featured much since being a mole.I thnk he is taking stock atm.

Mario I think would benefit from Ben going, and to be honest I think Ben will be up for eviction next week.

What seems to give Mario some entertaining moments is his friendship with Sunshine, so hoping she doesn't go, I think being around her will bring out Mario's fun side.
His relationship with Ben is rather uncomfortable and could either benefit Mario or be his undoing, and I don't really want to take that risk.

I just hope Mario gets away from the group of Ben, JJ and Dave, as their b*tching is starting to annoy me, and Mario may start to look bad if he is seen to join in.

I am also liking Mario and Sunshine's growing friendship and really hope she stays tonight. I think Mario knows in his heart that things won't develop into a relationship between him and Ben and will be fine with that.

Sunshine is a better friend for him imo as there is always the real risk of being tarred with the same brush if you hang around too much with someone who bitches a lot. Sunshine can see this and will hopefully keep Mario away from at least some of it.

I think she and Mario are fun together. So, if she can steer him away from the serious bitching and if he could help her to stay more chilled out about things that could work to both their advantages.

Thinking about next weeks noms - think there is a real possibility of JJ and Ben both being up. Don't know who would go out of those two. Probably Ben and although Mario would be down for a bit I don't think he'd be too upset for long because he has lots of hms who like him in there and that would get him through.

Of course if Govan is up too, he'd probably go over Ben and JJ don't you think?

Govan is likely to be up,he is too close to the girls and bitches.I agree,if he is up,he will go against any one atm.My bet is on Shabby out first which suits Mario.Sunshine seems to have turned it around,good for Mario in the long run.

Whereas Sunshine can be annoying, she does have a nice side and when she and Mario are together they are entertaining. Shabby on the other hand is just plain annoying and wanting to take control of the house and who gets nommed. She needs to go.

I think Govan may be up too, especially if you heard the boys b*tching session last night in the nest. Even Steve was saying he could see Govan working the groups, and Ben was making JJ paranoid about Govan's intentions. So Govan may end up with nominations from Ben, Dave, Steve, JJ, Mario, though i'm not sure about Nathan. Nathan was present for this, but do you remember the game they were playing where Nathan said he'd miss Govan the most if he left. Don't know where that came from, do they hang out alot?

Who goes tonight will obviously affect the house dynamics, though Shabby's eviction will more than the other 2. I think Ben, Dave and Govan are the three most likely to be up next week, with JJ and Rachael as mild possibilities.

I have to admit that although I like Ben, I don't like his constant bitching at the mo and want Mario well away from it. Think without Ben there Mario will mix fine with the rest of the house and have more fun.

Well, although it would have been even better for Mario if Shabby had got the boot last night, it was a relief to see that Sunshine didn't. Think he'd have been gutted if she'd gone at this stage, so not too bad a result

Guess Ben and Dave will very likely be targetted now by Shabby. Hoipefully Sunshine will be safer from noms this week as shabby and Govan have bigger fish to fry.

Don't think Mario will be in the firing line yet, so let's hope Shabby may be up again one way or the other, or Govan and one of them out to weaken their power.

It was a good result.I do not think Sunshine is likely to be up soon.Ben is in the firing line since Shabby stayed,but is she is up again,lots of angry Racheal fans around I also think she assumes she is now popular she is going to get worse.The sooner she goes,the better for Mario.I have not seen him talk to her.

Shabby and Mario actually seem to get on alright, her, Caoimhe and Ife seem accepting of him to be in the bathroom with them.
Though without Dave and Ben in the house, I doubt Shabby would hesistate to take Mario out next.
I do actually want either Ben, Dave or JJ to go in the next couple of weeks, just because it would hopefully open Mario up a bit more. Ben is really starting to annoy me with his paranoia and game tactics.
Mario will do better as Sunshine's friend than apparently being Ben's shadow in alot of people's minds.

I've been watching an awful lot of livestream and my conclusion so far is that Mario stands out from the rest as the most attractive and appealing housemate. I like the shy look which makes you think he is a quiet, unassuming sort of guy, but thanks to the live feed, I know different. Some of the things he comes out with, well! He is so funny and near the mark, but he gets away with it. I know he's gay but the way he looks at some of the girls with those oh-so-very-sexy, soulful eyes, makes him very alluring. I know JJ is supposed to be the eye-candy but he lacks so much in just about every department compared to Mario.

So far, I'm liking Dave and Mario's friendship a lot more than I'm liking Ben. I too hope Ben goes as I can see right through him. He toys with Mario when it suits him, i.e. when he finds himself Billy-no-mates. Early days but it will be intriguing to see how things play out. For me, the show needs Mario as I find him the most interesting hm in there.

PS: Thank god once again for the livefeed as Mario may as well be invisible post-Moley on the highlight shows so far.

The h/l shows as usual have been focused on the rows which is a shame because Mario is far more entertaining than all of that.

That said, as Mario was featured heavily as the Mole, BB might not want to over expose him because that often backfires on a hm and people start moaning that it's the x,y,z show.

Mario may be off the radar right now but I feel there will be plenty more to come from him soon and people will appreciate his entertainment value all over again.

Corinne seems to be flavour of the week at the moment but I don't think that will last. Think she will start to grate. There's very little dislike for Mario, unlike there is for several other hms. If he's wise he'll stay friendly with everyone while they pick on each other.

Agree with Tudor Rose about Mario being very appealing and funny and he certainly has a lovely face.

I think it's good that others are getting the attention (and the criticisms) now. The BB process is a marathon, not a race. Let's allow some of the others to run out of steam and take themselves out of the running so that Mario can make it hopefully to the end.

The highlight shows could be worse, at least he actually gets featured in them, unlike some of the others in the house.
He's doing a good job so far, and we've still got a long way to go. We're only one week into it, and the first week ends up having little influence over the rest of the series. Where was Sophie this time last year, she wasn't even that relevant until a few weeks in.
