And yeah, he isn't full of himself like everyone is expecting him to be. I hope he proves to be a great guy and not turn into a prat

Evening....

I was determined not to like JJ, but the more I see of him, the more I like him! Who else would have walked out to such pizza desecration, and LAUGHED?!

Think he may be my favourite to win this year!

Let's hope his reputation as "30 second man" is unfounded...

His anger at making "48 thousand pizzas" was hilarious.

Liking JJ now! Never thought I would. He is so funny, when he was talking about wiping his bottom last night I was like but then I was laughing. And the pizzas hahaha very funny guy!

Yes, I think that a lot of us have warmed to him after talking about wiping his backside from the front and the manner in which he told everybody was really hilarious. I am hoping that he is for real and not pretending to be so laid back and so funny with not a care in the world!

But it could be that he is playing everything down and trying to be cool because he knows that with his looks people will think that hes arrogant and full of himself! Time will tell, but after being in Australia a couple of times I would say that he is the typical type of Aussie and what you see is what you get! Really shocked that he said he was often a 30 second sex man! How many men would own up to that, especially a British man. This is also what has endeared him to a lot of people over the past 48 hrs, in my opinion! He is just so out there and up front!

I think he's hilarious. I started to like him when they were told to go pick up their costumes for the task the other day and he was the only one who asked Steve if he wanted him to fetch his...John's coming across as a good lad with a positive and funny personality, definiitely my favourite at the moment.

So happy I like the fellow Aussie, I have been laughing at things from him that I generally don't find funny at all, it is all in the delivery I guess, keeping the room in hysterics without really trying.

I think he is genuine too, he kinda reminds me of my brother a typical Aussie bloke. He may play it up a bit, but if he is all about having a good laugh then I am not gonna waste time worrying about how genuine his banter is. I hope he goes all the way I'd love Australia to represent in the all stars showdown.

I'm begining to form opinions on which of the HMs I am warming too. JJ is definitely one of them. He seems like a nice lad, and has much more depth than I originally gave him credit for. That'll teach me to jump to unfounded conclusions!

I'll be honest, the bias that teenage fangirls have towards attractive men tends to piss me off so much where I form my own bias against attractive men. Fortunately, John James has been such a great housemate to the point where there's really nothing to dislike. He's definately one of my favourites and I'm really enjoying him this season.

Aye, my first impressions of him were that he'd a vacant pretty boy, with not much to add (a bit like Kris last year), but he's providing some excellent entertainment! On the other hand, I quite liked Govan on opening night, but he's quickly becoming a real irritant! The moral of the story? First impressions on BB housemates are rarely correct!

I love him. Defo my favourite housemate so far.

Especially the fact that he hates girls that are arrogant and look down on other girls.. love his personality !

I want to add my name to this thread. Fantastic housemate, and I happen to agree with most of what he says, even if he goes about it a questionable way.
