Early days. Housemates who have a slower/quieter start usually fare better in the long run
I hope he doesn't get evicted first! I can't watch the livefeed, but I have Nathan on a possible "ones I like" list. I just hope he gets more airtime soon, so I can see.

Hey water

I'm fairly confident that Nathan will be safe for a bit. He's laid back and fun and does a lot of the cooking.

There's far bigger fish to fry in there at the mo.

True! Call me WK btw.

He does seem laidback - it's why I think I'll like him. He's more my type than JJ anyway. I must like 'em hairy.

WK it is

You got good taste

Nathan's a bit more rough and rugged. JJ's too conventionally good looking.

I don't really like bland faces that always look the same. I like faces with character and guys that don't pay TOO much attention to how they look.

Same here. I think that's why I find Nathan more attractive than JJ. I love that rough and rugged look... his voice in particular is really nice to listen too

Nathan made me laugh earlier when the housemates were called to the sofa and he shouted "your kidding me I'm in the garden getting some sun having me nails done and my back tickled by 2 women".

I think that both Racheal and Josie fancy him as well.

They both admitted earlier to each other in the nest that they both fancy Nathan.... all I can say is they have competition

Congratulations to him on winning the task

Hi everyone
Just thought I'd pop in this thread and say I'm really loving Nathan, he's funny, honest, nice and of course genuine! Plus I kinda fancy him lol.
I hope we get to see a lot more of him in the HL shows because he's brilliant on LF, shame he's not really been shown much

I have to be honest, he's not as witty and articulate as some of the others, but there is a certain charm about Nathan

I think he's a nice guy who is able to laugh at himself and who will throw himself into the BB experience.

Not sure I want him to get embroiled in a house romance though!

Just because you want to keep him for yourself

I agree with Chels - I hope we see more of him on the highlights, as he has some really funny moments on LF. He may not be the most articulate, but you don't need to be in order to be funny.

Sid I agree with the romance thing, it could ruin him. He seems to get on with Josie well too, but we shall see

And yeah Davey, there's just something about him that's just really likeable and he's been making me laugh constantly on LF this morning, did you hear him say that he set up a thing on ebay where people could sponsor his monobrow, and he would send them pictures and a few strands, he got £5 and then ebay took it down because you're not allowed to sell body parts lol! It's just the way he tells these stories as well

Am I that transparent

Haha!

It's amusing little stories and moments like this that I enjoy most about Big Brother.

I think Nathan is the type of housemate what will shine as the numbers dwindle.

I really hope that he does liven up a bit as time goes on. I'm sure there's more to him than we're seeing. I can see why people might say he is boring, but I think that people who say he is just an ugly, common lout who likes nothing but booze and girls are missing some things.

True, he might not be everyone's cup of tea (but do looks really matter?). He does swear and does have the same common West Yorkshire accent as me. He might like girls and booze, but he hasn't been drunk yet and I find his flirting more innocent than that of some other housemates. The girls seem to enjoy his company!

He works hard for the house doing the cooking. I don't think that he does that to avoid being nominated or to take control. He seems laidback about to to me and just enjoys cooking and wants to occupy himself. He doesn't bitch as much as some and has comforted people when they needed it. He has also offered some sound advice. He has discussed politics, art, music and films. He does have a sense of humour that appeals to me, but is maybe too subtle. We need more of that side of him to make the highlights.

I like the guy and I hope I am right about him and he proves himself with time. Others have done so in the past! <--- Champions the underdog.

I think that too. He's taken over Govan as my favourite (going off him now.)
He doesn't seem popular yet, but that could be a good thing - the ones who are popular early on (Rex; Freddie; etc) rarely actually go on to win, so there's hope
I hope it's the same this year anyway, I can't stand Mario

I actually do like Mario. He seems quite cute and geeky. He hogged all the attention at the start though. Not his fault, but it's the way the show was done. I want others to come through more now.

Nathan is a nice guy and can be funny. I also don't think he is unintelligent. However, he doesn't articulate hismelf very well. He doesn't finish his sentences and lets others talk over him. I hope he starts to express himself more clearly. The fact that he is so laidback should go in his favour.

I'm undecided about Mario. There's nothing specific I can point out that I dislike about the guy, it's just a feeling that he's too good to be true if that makes sense?

Anyway, back to Nathan, I think he'll be more comfortable with fewer people to compete with. At the moment everyone is talking ten to the dozen and over one another. Nathan strikes me as quite laid back, someone who liked to take his time when he speaks, not feel rushed, and someone who thrives in a more intimate setting (numbers wise, I';m not talking romance here!).

He had a nice 1 on 1 chat with Dave tonight

Is anyone else slightly gutted that he gets on well with Govan? I'm worried it could turn him bitchy and ruin his chances Govan needs to leave for Nathan's sake IMO.

You beat me to it Chels!

Was just about to post the same thing.

I don't like the company Nathan keeps in the house. He's too in with Govan and Rachael who are my least fav housemates!

Sorry Sid, I just haven't seen much of Nathan and really can't see the physical attraction at all, so I'm nailing my flag to Corin to win..................but its early days, things can easily change!

I'm appreciating Corin loads too Charlie so you can't get rid of me that easy

I think I'm going to end up fairly indifferent to Nathan, but I'll always find him nice to look at!
