I haven't read the spoilers because I don't like spoiling the HL show for myself but I'm glad he's getting shown, I hope they show him being funny for once!

Oh... he's still one of my favourites, but I can't see him winning unless he gets out of the kitchen. I have my eye on him to see which way he goes - more annoying, or if he'll be able to pull something out of the bag. I still feel quite protective of him.

I worry that Nathan might end up being one of those who has a hard time emotionally. Not what I expected when he was so laidback at the start.

It says that Shabby, Ife and Caoimhe were discussing Nathan's apparent stupidty. What were they saying - were they being mean? If so, why is Shabby suddenly turning against her friends?

I was wondering the same thing. But it hasn't been mentioned in the WHATM thread at all. Shabby has been a big disappointment today.

It's hard to tell if it was mean or not. If it was though, then I officially dislike her now. That would be two of her friends she's turned on.

I actually want Nathan to be more friends with Mario.

True! Could tonight see the end of Nathan and Shabby's friendship then? Or at least open his eyes to her a bit. No offence, but I hope he doesn't moan about the shopping budget and cooking for a whole week now.

IMO he was the only one to come out of 'Bengate' last night with any credit. I like Ben a lot but Nathan took the words right out of my mouth when he told him to drop it. The argument was over with and then Ben goes and brings it back up again, and poor Nathan who was ill was subjected to it throughout start to finish and I think when Ben brought it back up he actually snapped. I love how he took no sides as well and that he called everyone 'pathetic.'

So Shabby really is slating him to the high heavens then? I hope Davina Macaw repeats her words to him. She has slipped right down my list now, after her treatment of "friends" Ife and Nathan, just because they dared to criticise her.

Is this happening now? What's she saying about him?

I just read in the livefeed thread that she and Caoimhe had said that a pillow smelled of dirty man pit sweat and blamed Nathan and then joked about catching something from it. People said Shabby had been making snide comments here and there about him since he dared to criticise her last night.

Slagging off your friends... that's low. Even lower when they're ill.

Not happy with tonights edit, looking at the spoilers. Nathan is hardly mentioned at all. On the brightside he's not getting a bad edit or anything. But i'm disappointed that they are not showing Nathan telling Ben as it is or not even showing Nathan tell Dave that he better not be following him for a bitch because he's not in the mood. Which I assumed would be shown.They ain't even showing any footage of Steve's meeting.

I don't understand that. PEJ reckoned they were trying to find ways of showing the quieter housemates more. As soon as he said that, those quieter housemates started to pipe up and do some highlight worthy stuff. Only for it not to make the highlights.

I'm glad that bit did get shown afterall.

Had a right go at Sunshine for not sharing her crisps. He was hardly the only one, so I don't see why he gets all the stick for it. Ife was nastier in my book, for stealing the soy milk. I do wish he'd lay off Sunshine a bit though. If I were her, I'd have shared right away. But the way they went on, I could see why she might not want to.

I get the impression a lot of people on here are JJ/Josie fans who think Nathan is getting in the way of them. I couldn't care less, because everyone's only known one another a few days and nobody is really in a couple. Josie is a big flirt anyway.

Oh right, thanks. Didn't watch LF as I fell asleep haha. Was it behind her back or straight at her face? And yeah it's unfair how he gets slated for everything he does, I think 'seahorse' will emerge soon and we'll se his true personality

Oh and as for JJ fans, I've noticed they're the ones who have a go at Nathan for swearing yet JJ is just as bad if not worse...

Both... behind her back and to her face. I'll say that for Nathan - every problem he has, he does bring it up to the person in question as well. He does also criticise his friends at times. The thing is, they are his "friends". Who the hell gets as mardy with their mates as they do people they don't like.

Not just the swearing - a lot of the very worst stuff said about Nathan comes from JJ/Josie fans.

BTW... I agree with what was said on BBBM about him being bored and needing someone to bounce off.

At least it's not bitching then - I don't like Sunshine but I hope they don't portray Nathan badly. That's what I like about him though is that he's not afraid to say what he thinks and if he's annoyed with someone whether they're his friend or not, he'll let them know. It's a good thing IMO, unlike Shabby who just slags him off behind his back.

Tbh I think JJ and Josie fans are afraid Nathan's personality will start coming through soon and that it'll take the limelight off their fav.

And yeah he needs another lad in there to have a good laugh with so we can see more of him, or he could just start mingling a bit more.

I dunno, Nathan isn't all sweetness and light. He doesn't have to like Sunshine, but he is so rigid in his view of her! I'd rather he hung about more with someone like Mario than Caoimhe and Shabby - less bitchy. He had his best moment so far with Mario!

That said, it is the bitterness on this forum that gets to me. People are just so nasty and judgmental and they seem to believe that they are so perfect. Like nobody here ever bitches or moans or snaps at someone else. People are people and I can't see anybody in there who I'd truly term "vile". Let's leave that to those individuals out there in the real world committing actual crimes, shall we?

That's fair enough - and I agree about him leaning more towards Mario's group, them two get on really well and you never know Mario could be the guy who's gonna bring Nathan out of his shell more! Did they streak yesterday btw?

I find Nathan and Mario very cute when they do get together. Both are being accused as "bores" so if they came up with more of the energy they put into the Jerry Springer thing, then we could have gold!

Couldn't agree more. This is the first series that i've actually had to stop reading the WHATM thread. I like to read it to see whats happening in the house not read personal attacks on contestants. The thing that annoys me is when anyone else ie. JJ does something wrong. They fall over themselves making excuses for them. When it's Nathan they just start posting I hate Nathan.

It's not just Nathan. There are times when I have read very unfair comments about others too. Nathan does seem to get it worse than anyone else though. Also... for all that they claim nobody ever talks about him... he seems to get brought up an awful lot to me.

Seriously, this is just a bunch of people locked in a house together. I remember living in Halls of Residence with eight other girls. We weren't even locked in, but if you'd put a camera on us people would have had plenty to comment on.
