I'm liking Ben. Was a huge Freddie fan last year too and I hate the 'inverted snobbery' as someone put it, really annoys me that people are like that.

According to the HL show the chat that Ben and Caoimhe had about Ireland and Catholicism yesterday didn't happen. Why am I not surprisedd??

They seem more concerned with making it look like he's gay when he's not.

I'm really digging Ben and hope he's around for a while. Hope people keep an open mind and that he doesn't suffer a trial by media

I don't think he minds if people think he's gay or bi though, he hasn't backed off from being touching feely with any of the blokes and still being his foppish himself. I like him all the better for it.

He is of course keeping his options option by being friendly with all the young ladies

I like Ben too. He seems like a really nice guy and I enjoy listening to his conversations.

he's a very interesting guy and seems rather intelligent, I like him so far. I wish BB would show the meaningful conversations people have more often, I imagine he is someone who can talk quite deeply about a lot of subjects.

BB seem to have it in for him though. Apparently this afternoon he was called to the DR and told off for supposedly using a possibly un-pc word during a discussion about Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. This will make it to tomorrow's HL to shown him as an arrogant out of touch aristo

It has taken me a bit longer to get hooked on this year’s BB, but now I have, I have to say Ben is my fave. I was a huge Freddie fan last year, and as has been pointed out already, Ben has a lot of Freddie’s qualities.

Ben appeared genuinely hurt by the baying crowd’s reaction. I really hope he puts it behind him and settles in.

I didn't like Freddie last year, mainly because of his sayings really put me off him, "Cool dude." but I am liking Ben though and felt for him when going into the house. The freaks outside don't give anyone a chance on launch night.

I think he will be fine. And if he brings out that humour of his that he uses for his radio show, then he could be in with a good chance of going far this year.
