I like her
She's a bit over-excitable at the moment but that will calm down. Seems she's not popular with the crowd and DS but I'm not sure why

She is by far my favourite at the moment, and I think (and hope) she'll be interesting. As I said in another thread, "Am I alone in quite liking Shabby?":

Her leaping about on the way in was a bit annoying and a bit reminiscent of Pete, but that hardly means she must be deliberately imitating him. Her look is more Clockwork Orange meets L Word's Shane than anything else.”

An other "looks like" people have noticed is Ally Sheedy in the Breakfast club.

I thought she looked like Shane from the L word straight away, before she was even selected..I can see Ally Sheedy too. I'm warming to her

Shabby is looking good on live BB (E4) right now and (finally!) isn't wearing the hat.

All the HMs are dressed up, for some reason. Unfortunately, they're refusing to give us a good look at her.

She has a credit on Secrets & Lies, one of my fav films.

I wasn't keen at first, but I'm liking Shabby now that she's wound down a bit.

I think she looks like a cross between Shane from the L word and Gerrard Way from My Chemical Romance!!

I think she's really cool so far. Her background and occupations are the most interesting out of anyone in the house too, like when they all sat around and talked briefly about themselves she sounded quite fascinating to me, and then there were other people just saying "I have three cats" or "I'm Australian and I like football". She's got some substance

So glad to see some Shabby love in here and on the forum When I started the thread last night I was the only one Hope she can win the hearts of other posters that judged her harshly on first impressions.

Thanks for the pics, she looks really beautiful in them Oh and thanks to Dylan for posting that she looks like the Chemical Romance singer as I had been scratching my brain trying to think who she looked like. Highly embarassing as they are one of my favorite bands! I must have been having a blond moment

Shabs has turned out to be a better HM than I first expected. Looks good without the excessive make up as well, if only she'd walk around in the house like that.

Interesting to see that acting profile, hope she cracks out some RP at some point.

I was cringing when she went in but I really warmed to her on last nights HL show, and that chat between her and Ife sounds quite sweet. She seems a lot more down to earth than I thought she was going to be.

Shane meets Gerard Way is pretty spot on! Looking forward to seeing her dressed down a bit at some point.

I'm really loving Shabby. From the moment she went in she was a breath of fresh air compared to the majority of the other girls in there (who just seem to carbon-copies of each other).

Don't understand why she's doing poorly in the popularity polls - maybe too many fans are just after a sneak-preview of next month's Nuts girls?

For me, Shabby is the only female HM I'd be happy to spend time with. An interesting personality, very pretty (despite what others say) and (although a bit early to be sure) seems a kind and genuinely nice person.

Shabby to win!

She's done badly in the popularity polls because most people voted before even seeing the first HL show. I think now people have realised she seems to be a cool housemate

Hated her pete style over the top entrance, but she is a good housemate, loved the way she spared daves' feelings by insisting to those present that nobody let on what was written on the ball during the mole task.

Kudos to shabby i like her more and more.

yeah that's her art collective thing, if you go on the website and click "About" it's got a list of the members and she's one of them

Yes, and it was an immediate reaction too, rather than something "calculated".

Another reason for thinking she's considerate and kind has also been mentioned. From another thread:

Last night she said they should be quiet going into the bedroom as people were sleeping and she asked people not to tell Dave that his name was on the beachball. She seems very interesting and I look forward to seeing her rebellious side.”
