If you would like to see Sunset Beach begining to end - Please follow the below link and let CBS DRAMA know.

CBS/Paramount own the rights so there's no reason as to why CBS DRAMA can't show it - Terror island, Shockwave, Rosario...Annie lol. Please let them know and hope for a repeat.

Nope - Channel5's rights to series ended in 2006. The actual rights to the show are owned by Paramount which is now cbs paramount therefore wouldn't be very hard to cbs drama (as this is part owned by cbs) to get hold of it.

Hope that made sense lol.

Cbs drama would be a perfect home for a sunset beach rerun however they want to hear from viewers as to what they want to see.

I used to love the first airing of the show....the talking over the end credits!!! say no more lol

I remember they were showing all the first season episodes in '04-05 until they suddenly stopped after Caitlin's car crash. I did watch the series originally in '97-'00, but I was much too young to understand what the hell was going on half the time.

Dear Becci Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We have no firm plans at the moment to air Sunset Beach however; I will forward your email to our Acquisitions Department for their consideration. Kind regardsGabriella - CBS Drama

This is the response i got back - suppose its a good sign it says no 'firm' plans, doesn't exclude it as a possibility in the future - if enough of us snd and it gets sent onto aquisitions then there may be hope

i agree Season 1 was slower compared to Season 2 and 3. Season 2 was the best.

I totally agree - As Sunset Beach is owned by CBS Paramount - it would be very easy for cbs drama to give is a run.

pass the below link to as many forums as you can

They'd still have to pay for it though, which is probably why they aren't showing it as Sunset Beach is said to be very expensive for a US soap that ended a decade ago.

Despite CBS distribution owning the rights to Spelling's shows, they can't give them away for free - It's just like how Sky has to pay for Fox shows, Hallmark for NBC shows etc.

Has anyone had an email back from CBS Drama yet? I mailed them recently to see if they had any plans to air Savannah, Central Park West or Titans and they got back to me the next day saying they had no definite plans but would forward my suggestion on to acquisitions.

I already e-mailed a few months ago. No plans at the moment!

I'm currently on Freeview so cannot receive CBS Drama at the moment, but I would change to Freesat if they start showing SB.

I honestly think it would quickly become CBS Drama's top rated show.

I have sent an email... padding out by saying i like Y&R ETC... (which i don't.. like B&B on diva though!)

CBS should air the closing with the 5 continuity lol - HILARIOUS it was!! although they will play the clean music possibly too which would be good!

I have some bits and pieces on VHS... O/T, This was weird music for the closing of episode 1 of SB: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B2oppJJ9z4

If I remember rightly, that same piece of music was used earlier on in the episode when Meg first arrived in Sunset Beach.
