Totally agree with that. It seems that she totally fooled Sugar until at the last moment the TV people told him what she was really like. Hence the sudden weird way he gave her the chance to jump. Editors earning their money there!
The candidate she accused of drinking too much was Adam Hosker. They hated each other. Not so much because he was 'working class' but a northerner (Lancashire). Also because he was pretty talented and a real contender. After him she started to try and undermine Kristina. Definately did for two other weaker candidates as well. Bet she worked on Jadine as well (who quit due to pressure). She ruined S3 for me.
What I hate the most is that she showed the TV people what happens if you include a nasty piece of work to TA. Previously they had the delusional eg Syed, Jo, Tre etc who were fun to watch. As Katie seemed to make even more viewer impact, they tried upping the back-stabbing quota for the next series (S4) and got Jenny Celery, Claire, Helene and Lucinda. Either toned it down for S5 or Ben and Debra didn't turn out as planned.
Btw she went to Sandhurst. Adam later wrote that he'd worked out that while there she'd been on a military intelligence course. That would have trained her to work out peoples' weaknesses and exploit them.
Oh and after the Apprentice she joined the Met office. Got sacked after a few months after her latest affair got snapped by the tabloids.
