Android apps on Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini

Hi everyone,

Am considering which phone to get for my upgrade on 3 at the end of this month and am keen on the tiny little Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini but wanted to ask:

- does anyone know if apps such as Seesmic and Foursquare will still work on such a small screen, I sent a tweet to Seesmic and they weren't sure but said it should do

- has anyone already used one? If so, what is it like to use and what is the onscreen virtual keyboard like to use?

Thanks in advance......

are they paid for or free apps?

Seesmic and Foursquare are free apps but there are about 4 or 5 apps I'm planning on downloading that are paid apps

It has a 240x320 pixel screen which is the same a some other lower end Android devices - Tattoo and Wildfire spring to mind. So apps will run fine if they run at that res - most will.

Just to point out I have not actually used one. From reviews I have read there is no Qwerty keyboard, which seems sensible given the size.

I was having a look in CPW at the model last weekend, and one of the sales girls was very keen to give me a demo of it as she reckoned she was very impressed with it. At the price I am almost tempted to pick one up and have a play.

I've had one & sent it back, it's far too small & the touchscreen is not very responsive.

The X10 mini pro is out very soon with similar dimensions and a slide-out keyboard. I've been waiting for it!

If it's anything like the X10, that also has a fairly unresponsive touchscreen
