That anyone should compare Zoe with Jenny or Katie seems odd. Jenny was a bully who subjected colleagues she disliked to lengthy vicious harangues. Katie made poisonous comments about other contestants. Zoe was never seen to behave remotely in either manner. She did put her case strongly to teammates, but didn't go on and on at them the way Jenny did, and the only adverse comment I recall hearing from her about a teammate was that Emma could be "a bit confrontational".

I was replying to someonelse comparing them. I agree with you here (and I think they did really). My 'villan' ranking was to compare how much they might really be if the editors hadn't been to work. Perhaps a bit generous to Jenny.

I think Zoe genuinely believed that she was a good team player, always helpful and who got on fine. Jordan's remark that 'she's a bit intense' is pretty much spot on in explaining why she was grating a few nerves. Nerves that were fraying in any event. It seemed that Emma had much more of a problem with her (just existing) than the other way around. Rivally that got under her skin.

However there's what you say and then there's body language out of control. Zoe leaps ahead of Jennifer M and Yasmina here. I really hope she never plays poker

Naturally I was never trying to say she was as or almost as bad as those two characters, I was implying that it's a bit weak for people to paint her as the villain of this series when there have been adults who were far worse. She had an excuse for being the way she was - she was just young and brash. For that reason, she won't come out badly from this.

And as you stated, she never stooped to the filth which some of the adults engaged in, despite her "agressive teenager" behaviour. And you would expect adults to be more mature than she was. In that sense, the junior apprentice was a real eye opener.

Sorry, didn't mean to come across like I was accusing you two of thinking Zoe was worse than Jenny or Katie. I was just picking up on what you'd posted and expressing surprise that anyone should compare them.

Actually I think Debra is the adult contestant most like Zoe; she was kind of brash and often annoyed people too, but was never really spiteful or cruel.

You're right, Debra is probably the closest - and that's because she was also quite young and excitable. So she also had more of an excuse for the way she was than some of the others preceding her.

I remember feeling a bit sorry for Debra in the interview week when one of the interviewers told her how all the people she'd given as referees had said what a pain she was. Debra laughed, but then looked a bit sad.
