I can't say I've missed "You're Fired" this series

Although I always felt compelled to watch it after every main show for completeness' sake, I never much cared for it as I thought Adrian Chiles took the piss out of the show and the contestants a little too much - but whatever the reason they didn't do it for JA (might just have been the short notice of Chiles' departure), I can't say the series has been lacking for not having it...

Think it's because they're juniors. There would be something wrong (i.e. unethical) in giving kids of that age that type of exposure. It was clear that as time went on, even the adults were recieving media training in order to handle it.

I wonder if due to the delays in showing the series its just too long ago for the contestants to give a good account of themselves? JA may never have been scheduled to have it anyway as it was a bit of a trial. Grown up apprentice, if it shows in the Autumn, will be about events that took place a year previously - I'm not sure I'd want to justify my actions so long after (actually with my addled brain I doubt I could recall much at all ).

I would have liked to have seen 'JA: You're Fired!' Just because they're kids doesn't mean that they wouldn't have anything to say about their performances. A taxi shots just aren't enough - and thanks to the format of the final, we didn't even get a final word from Tim!

No one's saying they wouldn't have something to say - Zoe for example would have loved it! - just saying putting 16 year olds under that kind of pressure smacks of exploitation to me. Not what they, nor more to the point their parents, signed up to either.

Given they were aged 16+ I would be surprised if they would need any parental consent? While they are young they are at an age where they can do pretty much in the real world.

Maybe not the Your Fired for the Juniors, but I would have liked to have see a You're Hired with Lord Sugar, the winner and maybe Tim. The last episode seemed to end so suddenly and Arjun and Tim barely got a reaction shot each. I wanted interview and best bits.

It's a bit like Strictly, I always felt there should be an extra ITT for the winners and runners up to reflect on the finale.

I'd have loved to have seen a You're Fired show to acxcompany Junior Apprentice. It would have to have been toned down quite a bit - I don't think it would have been appropriate for any of the contestants to get the kind of slagging off that Katie Hopkins or Michael Sophocles got - but it would have been nice to see the kids without the pressure of doing the tasks. Often you saw the adult contestants in a whole different light after they appeared on You're Fired.
