got a TX-P42G10B TV and a DMR-BS750EB recorder.
cant get vierea link to work.
have got it connected via HDMI and Scart.
both units have link settings on.
have seen many mention of this issue but most seem to be caused by having a sky hd box, which i have not.
but i just get the classic "feature not available"
direct rec works, but guess thats through scart.

sorted.
replaced the HDMI cable.
both were cheap ones from ebay.
version 1.4 .....£1.38
had version 1.3 ......£1.99
no mention of the versions in the manaul. would had made things simple.
USE VERSION 1.4 OR HIGHER SPEC HDMI CABLE
or the addition of a cable with the unit, afterall its not exactally a cheap unit.
and the cables are cheap, no need to buy expensive ones with hdmi, but thats another thread about rip off cables.

Belatedly to point out that you do not need to use the old scart leads for your set up HDMI only is best .
