Looks like its heading to iPhone, Android and Blackberry as a paid for app.

I've got a number of issues with this.

1 - Sort out the picture quality issues on ITV Player first. The quality is atrocious especially when watched on a 32in TV
2 - If you are paying for the App, how can they then justify advertising. If they want to continue with advertising then the App should be free.
3 - If the App is anything like ITV Player then its going to be shit. ITV should take a leaf out of the BBCs book and design a good interface
4 - This might be too little and too late. With O2 scrapping unlimited data tariffs, I think people are going to be put off from watching TV on their devices.

Just noticed, if you download the ITV World Cup 2010 app on iPhone, you can watch ITV1, 2 and 4 Live (no ITV3)
