Before I start, rest assured I'm no hater - quite the opposite. If you look at my previous posts you'll know this comes from a place of Danielle love, filled with malt loaf and New York t-shirts.

But I was in the bath just now and I got thinking. In the interests of balance, we should really have a tongue-in-cheek share of what we think some of Danielle's faults might be. True fans should recognise that their idols have feet of clay, and love them all the more for their little quirks.

So. Do you think she's a snorer? Makes a right mess? Never puts the loo roll on the holder? Terrible back seat driver? Hogs the remote control? Sings badly in the shower? (unlikely I know)

What do you think? I've got my ideas...

One of her faults may be that she speaks at the speed of light sometimes. But that's not really a fault, just the truth LOL. And quite amusing actualy.

This is not exactly a fault, just a teenage foible, but I bet she would take her mum out for a birthday evening out, and her mum would find she has to pay. (although probably Mum might suspect from the beginning that she'll have to pay). Her mum would have what Danielle was having to eat, because Danielle insisted it was really good. She might join Danielle in her favourite drink(s). Then Danielle might take her mum to a club for a cocktail next (mum pays of course) and find she has to drink two because it's buy one and get one free night. Then, after Mum and Danielle have staggered home giggling, Danielle might amuse herself telling the family that she got mum drunk. Sound likely?

Not my mum then, whenever I go out with her, it's always her way or the highway. "We're eating here... or you can go somewhere else... you're paying for yourself, or you can have something really cheap..."

Well I hope that Danielle doesn't read this. Danielle suffers the same problem that countless others do - weight. At eighteen she's quite chubby. The passage of time is not kind to such persons. She'll struggle. It's not her fault it's the way of the world.

Chubby?! She wasn't even chubby to begin with, just average size, and she said she dropped a dress size during the show. I would love to be her size, I wouldn't call myself fat but to me Danielle is exactly the right size for her age and height. I think she's pretty slim if you ask me.

And this is why so many women today have body-image issues. I do not think Danielle is in the least bit chubby. She's a very pretty, normal-sized girl. Just because she isn't a toothpick like so many supermodels and Hollywood people, does not mean she has weight issues. I am someone who has struggled with weight, and I know what it is like to have body-image issues. Danielle does not need that. She is not chubby at all--she's fine, and I hope she doesn't have to deal with stupid comments like this from people who seem to think "Hollywood" means "normal", because it very certainly does not.

That comment couldn't be further from the truth! Danielle has an amazing figure and is very slim! She is not chubby at all - she is stunning! I don't understand how you can even say that! She's slim and has a very lovely figure!!

And I'd like to add that Danielle shouldn't have to be faced with reading things like that, especially when they are so untrue. Danielle is lovely, a very normal, slim girl, and very pretty. I think its disgusting that people make comments like that. Silly.

well snowy owl obviously thinks Danielle is fat. except she isn't really, she's not even average, she's below average.

no wonder poor young girls kill themselves becuase they take these slimming pills and never eat, becuase of idiots calling them fat, or becuase people thinks it's best to look like a stick insect. The way you look is very important to some girls, especialy 18 year olds. i think it's disgusting to say these things, especialy about someone who isn't even remotely fat at all.

I'm really not sure what point you're trying to prove here?! It wouldn't matter whether Danielle was a size 6 or a size 16, what matters is her talent. And she happens to have that in abundance.

As it is, I actually happen to think Danielle has a gorgeous figure, she's not stick thin but she certainly is not chubby (i think you need to re-adjust the settings on your tv/ buy new specs?!). Comments like the one you have just made are EXACTLY why the number of young girls suffering from eating disorders has risen significantly over the last few years. Danielle is clearly a healthy, happy girl who is an extremely talented and versatile performer (who I personally believe is a very good role model). And her success from the show has filled a lot of people with hope and determination to reach their own goals.

But whatever sense of self gain you get from making inaccurate and ignorant comments about 18 year old girls, then bravo to you!

It's one thing to criticise performances. It's another to criticise appearance (however, appearance does matter in show business, however much we'd like to deny it - but that doesn't mean it's our place to talk about it here).

But I have no idea why anyone is speculating about whether she snores. What on earth has that got to do with anything?
