Why no "interviews" week?

I agree that the after-show may have been unfair on the youngsters, but a softer version of the interviews episode fron the regular apprentice series could have given them some really good experience and insight into themselves and their own performances. I'd really like to have seen that happening, and I think it's a shame they didn't do it.

I know what you mean, in that it would have been really good experience for the candidates but I'm not sure whether it would have worked on an entertainment level. It can be quite excrutiating listening to young people try and make their experience sound ground breakingly important.

Although to be fair it's also quite excrutiating listening to older people do it too!

Probably because Siralan wasn't actually going to hire the winner, and I think the purpose of the interviews was to help choose who would be best for that job. And the young uns aren't likely to have much experience in job interviews see they?

I'm a bit 'meh' about interviews week, though it does serve a useful purpose where a candidate has been lucky in the teams they've been on its an opportunity for Lordalun to give them the boot before the final.
With Junior apprentice interviews would have ment only 4 tasks before the final - not really a good run of entertainment for us.
Interviews does well in exposing where candidates have been somewhat 'economic with the truth' on their CVs - I dont see how that could appy to the juniors in any meaningful way.

I guess it was because nobody actually gets hired, so they'd just be saying why they thought they should win, a bit pointless when they can say that to Sugar in the boardroom.

I always have hated the interview episodes - they bore the heck out of me every year - I think they should just be condensed into an extended final episode and have an extra task in their place instead.

I think because

a) The interviews are always really boring

b) Listening to teenagers waffle on about their GCSE results, egg/sweet selling enterprises and Duke of Edinburgh awards would be even more boring than usual
