Recycling/selling my iPhone 3G
What's the most trustworthy phone exchange site? I want to sell my iPhone 3G and mobilephonexchange seemed to have the best price, but I saw a lot of reviews from people saying they were paid much less than they were quoted.
If I go the ebay route, how much do you think I could get if it was jailbroken + unlocked by O2, upgraded to iOS4 with multitasking enabled via a hack, had some minor scratches on the back and was not in its original packaging but came with some accessories (USB cable, Griffin Clarifi case, USB plug adapter, not the earphones though) ? I bought it in early October last year and have been keeping it in decent condition since then. Also, does anyone have any idea how much the iPhone 4 might cost up-front on the £25, £30 and £35 24month tariffs? I wish O2 would stop faffing around and just publish the prices next to the tariffs. |

I used Mazuma to sell my 3G last year. Very quick turn-around, & I may use them again for my 3GS.
No idea about eBay. iPhone 4 cost... I seriously don't think O2 (or the other networks) are going to reveal the phone prices until Pre-Order Day next week. I'd expect it to cost *at least* as much as the 3GS. |
