Just wondered what people thought of her play on album. I love it, especially temporary home. I almost cried when i watched the video.

Anyway, what are your thoughts, favourite songs?

My favourite singer and arguably one of the best at the moment.

Her voice is just phenomenal.

Favourite songs include Just a Dream and How Great Thou Art (her vocal in this is just sublime).

For Play on - I think you'd be hard pushed to better Someday when I stop loving you

I also love her doing other peeps' songs too - she's brilliant at Go your own way and Travellin' band.

Oh how I love her so.

Carrie is an amazing singer,have loved her and her pure voice since she won IDOL In 05 & have all her 3 albums.Still cant Believe after all her phenomenal US Success that she hasnt been launched internationally by Simon Fuller as in my opinion,there are many pop friendly songs on her 3 cds.Anyway,it's pretty certain she'll be v popular in the states for years to come yet as they certainly recognise a real talent like her.
Roll on album 4 from this v talented & beautiful lady i say!!

P.S-Fave songs of hers i love include "Dont forget to remember me", "Some hearts","Jesus take the wheel","Lessons learned","Before he cheats"," I aint in checotah anymore","Inside your heaven" from debut album. "Some hearts".
From her 2nd cd "Carnival Ride" i love "So small" & the amazing "I Know you wont".Finally from "Play on" my faves incl "Quitter","Change" & of course "Temporary home".

I adore Carrie, but I feel her third album is her weakest. Nothing betters Some Hearts for me, there was just so many incredible tracks on there.

'Some Hearts' is, imo, the best debut album from an American Idol or x-factor contestant. I loved her on the show and her first album, but my problem is that I just find her last two albums material bland, particularly the latest one.

I agree, just relistening to Some Hearts and it's incredible, Night Before is my favourite, but the others are just mediocre.

The only time i ever came across her music here in the UK was the song she did for disney's enchanted - ever after. It was rather pleasant I have to say

From what I've heard of AI Debut Albums, Carrie's is definitely the best (although I still prefer Kelly overall) Some Hearts is an amazing album.

CR-All-American Girl (possibly my favourite Carrie song), I Know You Won't and Last Name
PO-Temporary Home, Change, Cowboy Casanova and Play On.

Also I absolutely adore Ever Ever After, it's a shame it's not on an album as some people may have missed it entirely, it's from the Enchanted Movie, and if you've not heard it I highly recomment it.

Anyone else also a fan of Kellie Pickler from American Idol? she's not as strong vocally as Carrie but has some very good country/poppy tracks between her 2 albums.

I'd love them to duet, Kellie for me has a more country sounding voice, I love Rocks instead of Rice and Going out in Style.

Carrie is on the Daily Mail website today about her CMA performance. She looks awesome, I'll need to go listen/watch it later when I get a chance.

I'm a Carrie fan! Have all her albums! One of my fave Idol winners, with Kelly being the best.

The Night Before is one of my favourites too, also love Wasted. There are so many gems on her debut that I suppose it was always going to be difficult to match it.

They probably haven't tried to launch her over here because Country music isn't hugely popular. Also, she is such a massive act in the States that they really don't need to bother, a bit like the Rascal Flatts.

Some Hearts is a great debut album. Starts With Goodbye, Just Can't Live A Lie, Wasted, That's Where It Is, Jesus Take The Wheel and Lessons Learned are my favourites, but all the songs are great.

She's one the best singers around at the moment, it's a shame she doesn't cross over. She could be huge.
