Can only happen to ITV, time to bring in the lawyers to stop this happening again for the third time. Micheal Grade must be fuming if he is watching in HD. Even though he don't work there nomore
Michael Grade isn't the only one whose fuming. I couldn't believe the cock-up on ITV1 HD.

I live near a pub and the punters are watching to match in the beer garden. The language and noise was very blue there when ITV cocked up!

So thats 3 ad breaks during games missing 2 important goals and 3 times theyve lost HD, which incidentally is lost again.

Still, they managed to show that one, well done.

Unbeliavable, in any other industry heads would roll. Time for ITV to come clean and name and blame for another massive cock up.

In defense the pictures are pretty good, but we deserve an explanation of what went wrong and especially why it won't happen again.,

It's just gone back to the HD feed. I didn't notice any obvious jump - but I was head down in the laptop...
The USA goal looked definately in SD to me

Are you saying you HD went off for nearly 25 mins. The Granada HD went off for about 30sec to miss the goal?
Yeah, from memory aren't there a few ITV HD feeds, maybe the Granada one is diferent to Anglia's but i was under the impression ITV lost all HD?

I was watching the buildup on ITV HD but the frame rate kept dropping so switched to Granada

At the shambles that is broadcast on ITV HD.

Oh the irony. Andy Townsend prattling on about Green having a 'howler' when ITV HD made the biggest one of all.
