I no longer think ITV are incompetent, they have a script of the worst most amateur mistakes and follow that. There is no way they are this constantly worthless just by accident, no one is that terrible.

Not an England fan myself but I can understand that you guys down there would be mighty pissed if watching ITV HD as it's now changed to SD too. Did this happen on normal ITV stations too?

Mine cut to a car ad, then went blank, then ten seconds later returned to the goal celebrations.
Clearly some mischief is going on.with the delay between live and actual transmission which is around 5 secs gives someone a chance to blank out a goal! We got part of an advert on HD
ITV should have their HD channel removed. Its bloody useless, how many times have they done this now? And how many times have they promised to show HD material and we end up getting SD.
And now in upscaled SD. What a splendid demonstration of HD to all those punters who got HD for the World Cup!
For gods sake, not only have they got a second rate coverage they can't even show the game without cocking it up!
