I think that Alesha is making a mistake returning to SCD

With the show due to start in just over a month, you'd expect all decisions to be made and all contracts to be signed by now.”

The decisions probably have been made and the ink on the contracts will be dry, it's just that they are not letting the cat out of the bag. No need for an opening night if everything is let out beforehand.

You're both probably right.

They just want to keep the suspense going until the very last moment....

There has to be a bit of suspense otherwise the opening night could be a flop. Also after the opening night we will know who's dancing and who's judging and what better time to open the SCD boards. The world and his wife will have an opinion and will be signing up in droves.

Nah!! It'll still be just the same old boring us - slightly recharged of course! (lol)

Do you know what - I really wish you'd lay off. I've not once attacked you or anyone else on this forum and I find your attitude really patronizing, however unintentional you may claim it to be.

I am not biased. I don't need Alesha's permission to post here. Whatever relationship I have with Alesha has no bearing on my opinion. I've stated before that I really don't care whether she goes on the show or not. However, I won't stand by and let people tarnish her name with libellious claims.

If you care to read the People article again you would see that the so -called 'quote' has been retracted because Alesha NEVER even muttered those words. Alesha's interview was recorded on tape. She has a brilliant manager and a press team who acted quickly to have the article corrected. Any press outlet who repeats these libellious claims will be facing legal action and I think you should seriously consider any comments you make yourself.

So, kindly I ask that you stop nitpicking at me. I get that Alesha is in the public eye and there is the certain expectation people will discuss her persona, but I honestly find you patronizing towards me.

But it’s ok for you to call people ignorant, that can be seen as an attack (or do you have selective memory)...... If you do not purport to be her mouthpiece on this forum then why do you use her web page address as your forum name? If you’re not then you would certainly have no influence whatsoever as to whether anything is libellious or not. That’s an issue for the media. As you rightly say, her excellent management team must keep a lid on that and point their armoury in the right direction, not veiled threats on this or any other forum! Freedom of speech and all that jazz.... even if we don’t always like what we hear.... this thread’s name gives a clue as to the discussion contained in here; if it’s a topic that offends it’s not obligatory to visit! Xx

Off topic, love Alexandra Burke’s new single/video; it’s original, very hot and if there is any justice in the world will sell in bucket loads! May be she’ll guest on Strictly, great dance vibe.

No more so than calling Alesha arrogant, or the thiny-veilled digs at myself.

I have had the forum name longer than I've been Alesha's 'mouthpiece' as you call it. If you don't want the truth then go and read a fairytale book.

This is a public forum, and the same applies to you - it's not obligatory to respond to my comments. If you don't want to read what I have to say, ignore it and carry on with your day. By choice I have chosen to point out that the discussion going on in this thread is based on absolute crap.

The pro-Alesha-as-a-judge FMs and the against-Alesha-as-a-judge FMs are obviously never going to agree.

This thread has been going round in circles and now FMs seem to have descended to the level of attacking each other, perhaps because there's really else to say that hasn't been said many, MANY times before.

I realise that what I'm about to say is going to open me up to loads of "Don't read it then," type comments but, personally, I wish the mods would just lock this thread and ban any more similar threads being started until we know for sure that she's actually coming back as a judge, when no doubt the same debate will start all over again. *sighs*

I actually couldn't agree more.

Mods, can we lock the thread please?
