This song doesn't seemed to have taken off quickly at all despite the release of the music video. It reached #11 on itunes earlier in the week and has now fallen to #14 due to the england athems and this weeks new release (Kickstarts, All the Lovers & Dancing On My Own in time). Telephone went to number one within a week (and a couple of days) of the music video premiere which makes me think that Alejandro will not achieve similar success or even a top 5 placing. Your thoughts?

It wasn't meant a a joke (OK, the "tens" part was.... but that was targeted at how few people buy physical releases now). I believe the same thing happened with Telephone? It was downloadable for a long time and first appeared in the chart back in December 2009 but never peaked until a couple of weeks after it's physical release.
