Lily Allen judging X Factor?
MJ_lives

I somehow ended up on Lily Allen's wikipedia page today, and right at the bottom of the page, where the discography bar is, underneath it is an X Factor bar. It says by the guest judges bit Lily Allen's name, along with Pixie Lott, Katy Perry, Frankie Sandford, Natalie Imbruliga, Geri Halliwell and Paula Abdul.

I googled it but can't find anything about it. And I know it's wikipedia so it could just be some scally on the wind up. I hope to god it's true though, because Lily and Cheryl don't get on, so it could be funny

I hope so much that it's true!!! Will be funny them always disagreeing and lily dissing her but also I think that Lily Allen would make a great guest judge

I think she'd make an awesome judge to be honest, but I think she may be too disruptive with Cheryl, unless they made up beforehand, which would be surprising and probably disappointing to the press.

Be interesting to see whether the Frankie Sandford rumour is true..!

I think Simon will have only signed her up to try and start an argument. Plus it will get more viewers.

I reckon he'll get Dizzee Rascal roped in at some point, seeing as though he's on that Shout song.

I don't think Simon would risk Cheryl's position on the show for a bit of nonsense headline grabbing.

The show works as it is, having some guest judges is fine, and if there are some mini-spats during the course of the auditions then it'll make good tv, but bringing in Lily just to wind up Cheryl (who seems to be one of the main draws of the show) is not something I could see Simon risking.

If she does, it just highlights how much of a hypocrite she has become after saying she wanted nothing more than to live a private life. Im sure doing the X Factor is the best way to do that, deary.

There we are, all false, and shows Lily's somewhat maturity.

I don't understand how this guest judge thing works. Will Danni be back for the live finals or are they just gonna give one category a new mentor every week? Which seems a bit unfair. The only guest judge I'm looking forward to is Katy Perry, she's the only one that seems to have a personality.

dannii is coming back at the judges houses, so she'll to have 6 singers to then pick her 3 from

Ah ok. Thanks for explaining. Still seems a little weird seeing as she won't be familiar with the acts and they'll probably try to lumber her with the groups!

A group will probably win this year, at the hands of Tweedy

I'm pretty sure Cheryl will get the groups this year, she said she wanted the challenge at the end of last season.

I'm sure Dannii will get to see all the auditions and bootcamp of her category before meeting them for the first time.

Although to be honest, NOT seeing them until Judges houses could be nice. Often I feel at Judges houses, contestants pull it out the bag, but because of other contestants previous performances, they get through despite poor performances at Judges house. Like basically all of Simons category last year, I felt Nicole, Daniel and TreyC were all far superior to Olly, Jamie and Danyl, but none of the 3 had had super hyped auditions and there was no way Simon was going to show himself up by not choosing the 3 he himself had majorly hyped.

Perhaps if he hadn't seen the acts beforehand he may have had a different set of contestants for the live shows, more popular perhaps?

Edit:I like that Lily has a Cheryl track on her iPod, I bet the pair of them would have a wild night on the town if they were friend.

Saw an interview with Lily somewhere recently where she absolutely ruled herself out of ever doing anything like the X Factor. She wants to start a family with her partner apparently and get out of the music business.
