According to Digital Spy, Kylie Minogue has admitted that her new album would make a good farewell if she decided to quit the music industry.

Kylie, please don't quit music. You are the best!

I hope she quits. I've been waiting 22 years for her to stop.

She won't though- she's too obsessed with being famous.

hardly think she has built a 22 year old career based on 'being obsessed with being famous' she is very successful ,yet very private with her personal life...theres a big difference between someone like Kylie and for instance a reality tv reject who are all 'obsessed with being famous'

Kylie is a great singer, brilliant performer and not a bad little actress with the few things she's been in.

It's a shame people like you feel the need to be so negative.

I agree with you dude. Kylie is the best performer and entertainer I know. I have all her albums and they are all superb. Looking forward to Aphrodite.

I hope by saying this she only means it's her best work so far and it would be good to end on a high, rather than actually thinking about leaving... nooo. We need classy girls in pop, too many sluts.

First of all how the hell is this an admission? I don't recall her saying she has any plans to actually quit music. Here is the original article: http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?...=4801&Itemid=9 .

Few things? Sorry but she was acting LONG before she was singing/performing & thankfully has never been type-cast. The indie movies she's done have been gritty and rather good.

Why does everything have to be an "ADMISSION" Have the reporters gone stark raving bonkers? If (and only if ) she said it it would just be an everyday comment on her career.
Saying she was a secret crack dealer might be considered an admission.

I can understand why Kylie's music is not to everybody's taste but to call her singing crap i think is unjustified.
Personally i do not like her new album at all and my solution will be to just not buy it.

I'd forgotten about a lot of these roles actually! Thanks for the link.

She was actually brilliant in "Sample People" and "Hayride to Hell" where she really showed a rather demented side!

She was also excellent in "The Henderson Kids" which I remember watching millions of years ago when I lived in Sydney.

I wish Kylie would appear in more acting roles though, and not just playing herself in tv cameos.

Oh, and her performance was really funny when she guested on "Kath & Kim"!

You've really made me look back at and re-evaluate Kylie's acting career. Thanks for that!

Basically, Kylie is the best...and will be the last great entertainer to achieve longevity.

Kylie can kind of retire now.

Its a shame but she isn't the best at what she does anymore... and there are many new and fresh faced artists out there with new sounds.. etc .

If she wanted to mature into granny doing pop, sorry but Nana Madge has the spot locked down

I am pleased that her new album is so different to the last.
She can afford to record whatever she chooses without depending on commercial success.

Yep I was just thinking she should move to become an independent label artist with a niche market now and just do music that's totally left-field and not cater to the mainstream.

If she doesn't I'm sure her label would force her to sooner rather than later.
