Anyone else tempted? I am. I've just seen a thread on here about a big spoiler re. the Pandorica and I am so incredibly tempted to read it but it must be fought!! It must be FOUGHT! I'm so weak-willed. I think I might have to leave until Satuday has come and gone.

It's tempting I know but I look at it this way:

If I get run over by a bus this week then "Damn! I should have looked at that thread on DS" would be really crappy last words.

I gave in on that Pandorica thread. Tis not good, am only spoiling it for myself

I tend to avoid any thread with spoilers. If there's any surprises coming, I want it to just that-a surprise. I remember accidentally reading there was going to be a tragedy in Amy's Choice on here and it sort of spoilt it for me really when Rory died.

I have to read the forums and spoilers, my friends and family think I'm the all knowing regarding Doctor Who. Without the forums I'm nothing! Plus I'm too impatient, I'd be terrible with a time machine I think.

To contribute to the thread. I'm avoiding spoilers like the plague. I used to read spoilers up to Amy's choice and it does destroy a lot of the fun (for me). However, it requires a lot of willpower **must not read any spoilers, must not use the sonic, must not read any spoilers**

I love spoilers. The more the better. I love knowing what's going to happen - and the spoilers never give the whole story, there's always lots more, or its different from what you thought.

Which is just as well because I can't resist them anyway.

You might turn to stone reading them.

I was going to say that there seemed to be a lot less spoilers to avoid this year than in previous years but it looks like the flood is about to begin.

Think I will try and avoid any more for the rest of the week.

I find it ironic people are making a topic on here saying they're going to avoid forums.

Such is that case then why are you making this topic here, and eventually going back to come check on it?

I'm using forums twice as much in the run up to the finale because I'm trying to find out as much as possible

Yeah you've clearly stated that though, I don't see the purpose of this topic just for the aforementioned irony.

being stuck over here in the USA, I've grown very good at just reading the bits I want and not the others...I don't know enough people over here that are well into the show - and those I know are watching them as they air here so are 3 weeks behind!

just avoid the threads that say spoilers and such...

I'm doing ok so far. I'm pretty determined at the moment not to spoil things too much for Saturday - although I have succumbed to a few minor spoilers

i've enjoyed the penultimate episodes in the past - especially the last couple of seconds of cliffhanger - and i dont want to ruin it for myself. i just tend to keep coming back here as i am bored!!

and i have the dvds of series 1-4 of NuWho on its way this week...so going to be a Who marathon for me!!! every episode not seen since they first aired.
looking forward to seeing CE again.

I did momentarily consider the option of avoiding the forums until after the final episode aired as I accidently read a spoiler on here. However, I'm pretty good at avoiding spoilers in general and I'm pretty crap at avoiding the forums entirely so I'm still here.

I'm enjoying reading all the speculation and theories but I'm avoiding any definite spoilers as I really want a surprise for the finale.

I'm spoiler free, and want to be spoiler free. I'm planning on watching the episodes, so why read up on it before hand? (my opinion anyway, not saying everyone has to be the same way).
What annoys me though is when non-spoiler people start discussing things that they've heard in relation to discussion on forthcoming episode, meaning that people like me can't join in

Too weak-willed to stay away but so far not reading anything labelled SPOILER. I so want what happens to come as a surprise. That doesn't stop me speculating though...
