I never use 3G so haven't noticed this until now, but my tariff says Unlimited then in small print 750MB Fair Use Policy, How is it unlimited then?

It isn't and I think it is very bad practice. Looks like we may get some change with these latest iPhone tariffs, if O2's approach is anything to go by.

If you go over the Fair Use policy, you are still not charged... but if the usage is REALLY excessive, Orange reserve the right to slow you down for a week or so.

As regards to iPhone4, I can't comment, but you should know by the end of the week.

I am lead to believe Orange will release the price plans for iPhone 4 tomorrow morning as I believe thats when pre-ordering starts in retail. Going by what Vodafone has leaked, I dare say it won't be too different to their offering.

theregister.co.uk was claiming last week that Orange will be following O2 and Voda and dumping Unlimited data packages in favour of capped limits.

I'm probably going with Orange assuming they don't change their stance. You can go over the 750MB as long as it isn't by a lot and not every month.

Yes as I discovered this morning. apparently pre-order has been placed on hold for the time being. Something must be up for this to happen. None of the networks have so far officially released prices.

It could just be Apple's "marketing machine" trying to drum up yet more interest. With Apple, any publicity is good publicity for them.
