Not tried them but are you sure your existing battery is shot?

My 5800 lasts for like 4 days on a single charge usually, unless I plug it into my PC via the USB cable.

When I unplug it from USB again it looks fine, full battery etc. but within 3 hours it's stone dead.

The only way to avoid it is to always remember to switch the phone off and then on again after using the USB cable. It's very strange.

There are some Nokia 5800 battery suppliers on Amazon too - see http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...ix=nokia+5800+ - and that includes both branded and generic batteries. In this case, some of them have user ratings too which is quite helpful in deciding what to get.

I bought a highpower battery for my 5800 from an online retailer, on paper almost double the power of the Nokia original. It seemed better at first, but after just a few weeks I can't say it lasts any longer than the original. Worse still, because the battery is so thick a new back cover is supplied to accommodate this, but it hasn't been designed correctly for the camera lens so pictures are now pretty rubbish, unless you remove the back cover before taking them.

I don't think I have ever seen a true Nokia branded high power battery for this phone.
