Anyone know a linesman who can fix a telephone extension that has never worked since the painters did the outside of the house!!??

Birkby area of Huddersfield.

I would get BT to do the job but she claims not to have any bills and pays by DD and BT won't talk without the right account number etc etc.

Any pointers greatly appreciated as she must have a landline in her bedroom that works being 92!!
