Your voice is just not good enough to sell albums.

Give up now.

Actually his voice is "techincally" very good indeed.

Perhaps you just don't like him? Nobody is forcing you to listen to or buy his records.

Tell that to Cheryl Cole instead.

His voice isn't strong but it isn't actually bad. He's not good as an artist though. The issue is more how his celebrity status is selling him records, but it doesn't bother me because no-one denies it.

However, a lot of people DO deny it about Cheryl Cole, for example, and always point to her record sales as a reason for her being a good singer, when in reality there's absolutely no difference between her and Peter Andre, in terms of reasons why their music is selling. That's what gets me.

Do you mean his voice isn't strong because he doesn't have the volume of a foghorn blaring down a mic? Technically his voice is very strong indeed. He is a very compitent singer. Again, perhaps you just don't like him/his vocals?

You could say any singers celebrity status is why they sell records. but as selling records is what made him famous in the first place, I think that argument for him is a bit silly.

Cheryl is different, in that she came to light on a reality show, all be it a singing reality show but my personal opinion is that music and reality shows should never mix. Saying that I do enjoy Cheryl's performances.
