Well I only got my PS4 last week and have no games yet so I have taken the 14 day free trial of PS+ and downloaded the 2 free games. These will give me something to play on the PS4 until next week when I get paid an can afford some games. I tried a bit of Fez earlier and it's quite good, I know it's not the best game graphics wise but the gameplay is good. I like 2D platform games

Give Rogue Legacy a go when you do get paid. Really good, if tough, 2d platformer. Very addictive. I play it mainly on the vita, but it is cross buy across all three platforms.

As Gillyallan says there are some good free to play titles on PS4 - Warframe, DC Universe Online and Blacklight being the best. At some point they will get around to releasing Planetside 2, which looks amazing.

So had a quick go on the a few of the titles last night.

I actually quite enjoyed Proteus - it had that what is over the next hill kind of mystery to it. It wont last long and I am glad I didn't pay for it, but it will kill an hour or two I am sure.

Metrico was okay if a touch frustrating. I have just picked up Rogue Legacy, so that is taking all of my Vita time at the moment, so I can see Metrico getting much of a look in.

Road Not Taken was actually kind of fun, I could see myself sinking a fair few hours into it. It would feel more at home on the vita though.

I didn't know Knack was on Japan's PS+, I thought it was given away with the console.
I have seen it mentioned on a few PS+ prediction discussions that Knack was free on PS+ on the Japanese store.

Blacklight is a laggy mess most of the time, unfortunately.

Warframe is a great game in terms of mechanics and all that, but due to the progression nature of the game, the early levels are basically empty, meaning you've got to find a way to work through them yourself without any help The same thing will happen to late adopters of Destiny too!

Tried this months 2 free ps4 games.

Road Not Raken is a bit meh. I wasn't too bothered by it.

But Fez is excellent. Quite addictive.

Yesterday was download central for my Vita:

Fez (although it says it is on trail only), Proteus, Metrico, Harry Potter and the two episodes of Walking Dead 2 I hadn't downloaded.

Now I just have to get around to playing them - although I am still knee-deep in FFX. A three hour stint resulting in me beating Seymour for the second time.

If you go to settings, PSN and then restore licences Fez should then show as full game

I played road less taken and quite enjoyed it though only for a few mins, that and Fez i reckon i'm going to play this month (though i had already bought Fez ) though just bought Trials fusion and Steamworld dig which is quite good also.

Need to check out the sale on the psvita do fancy walking dead

Yeah. I admit to being a bit of a gfx whore so promptly deleted those. On ps3 we used to have games where under examination jaggies were found. Now we're getting games when I can hardly make out at all due to the blockyness.

I think both are pretty good as Vita cheapies. Not PS4 worthy.

I played Fez for a little over an hour, enjoyed it enough, but I'm hoping DriveClub in October will be the start of some decent titles being added to the PS+ titles for the PS4

Hope so. I just bought a year plus today. Had a 15 quid argos gift voucher that I essentially got for nowt. Also had a 5 quid off voucher. Paid cash 18.95 today. Ok I could've spent the 15 on other stuff but came in handy.

Just messing around with the water and lava physics is really enjoyable in PJ Shooter. The game itself is not bad either.

Yeah it's a fun platinum, lots to do with few annoying trophies.

The only annoying one is winning 5 games online (but you can cheat if you can't be bothered).

If your looking for another PS4/Vita game I couldn't recommend Rogue Legacy more, I'm currently on new game +2 and it's really addictive!

Seconded on Rogue Legacy, tough but addictive. Similar to Spelunky but I love the fact that you raise the stats of your character from turn to turn (makes it the better game IMO).

PIxel Junk is fun, although I think I am in what would have been the Pixel Junk 2 levels now (
Spoiler
) and I am finding them less fun than the earlier levels.

I think the first PS3 PJ-S was given away with Plus, I played and completed it - it's quite addictive once you get going with it. Good fun.

Barely touched it on PS4, mind.

I didn't find PJ Shooter 2 as much fun as PJ Shooter either, it felt more like a rushed cash in. I hoped it wouldn't be as noticeable when both games were merge for the PS4 version.

I have an urge to buy both Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed: Black Flag but I keep getting that nagging voice in my head which says: Buy them and within a few months both will be available on the IGC.

Watchdogs is only a couple of months old so it'll be at least a year before that comes on IGC. I'd even go as far as saying we won't see it on IGC until 2016.

As for Black a Flag, maybe after Christmas, maybe not.

Chances are we'll get Killzone and knack first.
