You should all take a note of the costs you have potentially saved over the year of the things you have truly enjoyed. I dont mean the cost of everything, as there will be tons you wont enjoy, not interested in and already got, etc. Just add it up over the year and see how you get on with it. Maybe just keep a little notepad doc on your computer or something.
Just another little note. Someone with Fat Princess. How about starting the game today, DONT update it. Turn it off and then set your auto download to come on and see if it gets this update for you. I mention FP, as that did update today and I've already updated. I'm also saying to start it so it knows its a recent game you are playing. |

I personally think Infamous has been put on there to tempt you with PSN+
I bet you get a huge discount on it if you are a subscriber. This is good though, the first downloadable popular PS3 game. I know Siren is on there but that was in episodes. I'd be tempted more than ever if there was a discount on it for being a + member. It means I'd get LBP and Infamous digital copies in one day. As long as they are cheap though...you can buy Infamous for like, £10 online. I wouldn't wanna pay more than £6 for a digital copy... |

I'd hate to be a + subscriber with a 40GB HDD mind you.
Its $29.99 on the US store. |

Ummmmmm, where is Little Big Planet as part of the package? I can only see Wipeout HD for free which is usually £13.99....

Just reading at sixthaxis about the "infamous" game hitting the store (to all) - Japan so far (probably US by now), UK later.
Its a 7GB download, no mention of pricing. LBP is 2GB but possibly major patching once downloaded, not sure. |

Have you got 3 month subscription? I'm sure LBP is only free if you get a 12 month one IIRC.

I just bought PSN+. I clicked confirm purchase, then it signed me out. Now I'm stuck on the home screen & no icons. Can't bring up anything by holding in the PS button on the controller & don't know if I should turn it off on the console as it looks like it's crashed. Did this happen to anyone else? It's been stuck for about 5 minutes

Hmmm, I can't bring myself to do it just yet lol gonna keep reading DS for a few days.
However, I didn't know Wipeout HD was £13.99. Is it a multiplayer online game? Do you rank? So basically when you sign up for a year, you get Wipeout and LBP, about £25 worth of games providing you subscribe every year. That's pretty good. |

For people who have bought it, make sure you go to system settings & select automatic download to on as it's defaulted to off which is strange as that was one of the big things to come out of this and people might miss. You can chose the time you want the auto downloads to happen like if your at work etc

Can you choose which things you'd like it to automatically download? For example if you don't want the trial games or the demos.

The Fury expansion pack offers more game modes for online & offline which will be available discounted soon |

Downloads content such as game patches, system software update data, and video items we recommend to you, automatically. This system will start automatically at the scheduled time, and will begin the download
I've set mine for between 4.00 - 6.00. You can chose which 2 hours interval for it to work

Can anyone who already has the disc version of LBP confirm if the digital version works with existing game saves?

Not done that but messed around in the photo editor to upload a photo to facebook. that worked quickly. there's also an app you have to download on Facebook itself if you want to add the friend list etc to your PC. Looks like its maybe only if they also sign up for the facebook thing that they appear on this list though as cant see my whole list. In fact cant see anyone. Hoping you dont need to actually add folk to facebook too, as only use facebook for family.
" and I downloaded the video editor (44MB) but didnt have a video to edit at that moment. We all seem to have the trophy level next to our IDs too as default. Havent quite found the store rating thing yet. Couldnt see anything else and now my son has jumped on PS3 so thats that for now. ~EDIT: You cannot edit a video that was on your HDD previous to 3.40, it has to be new. |

yeah I think you're right OMTT. You need to click on applications again within facebook to find it.
I'm no facebook expert though PS+ seems to be going quite well from the folk around here at least. |
