The PS+ team must get a lot of job satisfaction. I bet they would rather work at the complaints counter in Argos. Less whinging going on there.

Don't you even try the games you aren't "interested in"?

Already played Spelunky, Batman & Rainbow Moon. The other 2 don't interest me in the slightest, just like a Mary Kate & Ashley game wouldn't interest me. Is that ok with you??

Decent month, best in a while in fact, great range of games on offer
Out of interest the people saying 'another poor month' 'nothing for me' etc what are you realistically expecting from Plus bearing in mind PS Plus had to appeal to as wide a range as possible because Its Sony bread and butter now |

Something close to what we were getting last year.
The PS3 and Vita games have been fine. Ok Batman AA this month is old, but they've not been giving out rubbish for months. I think some people just like to complain for complaining's sake. |

Mixed bag for me.
PS4 line up is fantastic. Looking forward to trying Drive Club, I hope they manage to capture some of that motorstorm magic. I will happily upgrade if they do. Really like the look of Dust, so looking forward to that too. Spelunky, I already own. Great game, really hard (prefer rogue legacy due to the levelling aspect) but still quite fun. I can image a load of speedruns appearing on Live with Playstation pretty soon. Vita line up is strong too. I already own Rainbow Moon, it is a great turn based RPG and works really well as a mobile game. Pix the Cat looks okay, again it looks like it will work well as a game on the go. I have heard positive things about it. PS3 line isn't for me. Batman AA is a great game. One that I already own and have completed. I was surprised to see such an old game in the line up though. Looking forward to Resistance FOM next month... The D&D game isnt really for me, I will give it a go though. I think it is fair for people to criticise the games that are being offered. They are not free games they are part of a service that we are all paying for. I signed up for plus on the understanding that I would be receiving games each month. There has definitely been a shift in quality in the PS3 offering when compared to last year. If I only owned a PS3 I would not renew the sub (having viewed it as a must have prior to the PS4 launch). I am happy with the vita and PS4 offerings though. |

I can't believe there are people out there that would rather have crap like Knack than the amazing Spelunky, Towerfall Ascension or Resogun just because it's a "proper" game.
I guess that's what happens when a pursuit goes mainstream. It lets all the morons in. They wouldn't know a decent game if it bit them on the arse. |

I am happy with the vita and PS4 offerings though. So we get 4 ps4 games. Fantastic. I've already pre ordered DC so the ps+ edition is no use to me. I've heard good things about Dust & Spleunky. Pix the cat is cross buy isn't it, never heard of it. Could be a gem, could be a dud. And Rainbow Moon on the vita. Yes please. I look forward to that. I do agree that people have a right to complain and I usually hate the complaint culture we now live in. Ps+ is not games for gold. A lot of people got into ps+ because Sony were offering free games. Then they made it mandatory to play online. Games for gold is the other way around and they may seem the same but they're not. People can stop subbing if they want but there's bugger all alternative. Go PC gaming I guess. |

Heard PSN has had connectivity issues worldwide. anyone having trouble today?
Also Sony and/or PS+ have increase the subscription prices. Some places were given 24 hours notice of the change. God forbid they make the changes over in Europe, I can't see it happening but then again, you never know. |

Can someone clear the DRIVECLUB thing up.
Is it free as part of my PS+ sub, as all other games are, or are there additonal costs |

Is it free as part of my PS+ sub, as all other games are, or are there additonal costs The is the ps+ edition, which you get as part of your ps+ subscription. It only has a few tracks and cars (roughly 20% of the game). You can get a platinum trophy. All modes are unlocked. If you enjoy the ps+ edition you can upgrade digitally to the full edition for £35 I think. This will give you access to the full game: all cars and tracks. You can also buy the game on disk. This is the standard full game. Then there is the season pass for about £20. This will entitle you to all the extra cars and tracks they release for the game. |

Where is the best place to get PS Plus on the cheap? I'm looking to spend as little as possible so I can get shadow of mordor tomorrow as well, I think a 3 month sub would be best

I wish more people just put there money where their mouths are you haven't liked it for several months, don't resub when the times comes then, if you need to resub for online on PS4 then stop moaning they are giving you games for nothing
I probably would stop subscribing if Sony hadn't decided to make it mandatory to play online on PS4 (Which I will likely have before my sub runs out). Sony are not giving PS4 subscribers games for nothing, that is what the subscription is for. What Sony are doing for nothing is taking money off people for online access

I think where that falls down thomas is that due to us paying for online only, we expected psn to improve its game, when in reality it hasnt and you can generally predict itll fall over with any big release.

The simple fact it costs money for Sony to keep the PSN open as a portal to have online access to games.
With this generation the multi-player is standard to the games whereas even with the PS3 the multi-player, when PS3 started, wasn't the main part of the game. The multi-player side has grown. Maybe there could be a change with, for example, a £20/year for online access and £40/year for online access and IGC. For my POV you only need to get three games a year to make the IGC worthwhile. Since I have renewed in August Velocity has been the only game that I am really happy to get. I have seen the others as try rather than buy. Dungeons and Dragons and Sperlunky look interesting to me this month. I don't get to buy that many new games and this also could be a factor why the IGC works for me. One hit of £40 and I have many games to play. If I was in a position to buy the games then my view of IGC would change. But to get games like Bioshock Infinite, Dragon's Crown, Sly Thieves of Time and Puppeteer for the price of a subscription is worth it. |
