I have to admit even I'm miffed about the lack of a single AAA title if the list is the same in the UK, last month we got Batman AA sure its year old but its still a critically acclaimed AAA title

I was sure we'd be getting Murdered Soul Suspect around about now because it didn't sell to well, Knack has had Plus written on it since day one, There are so many LEGO games on PS4 they could give us one, maybe Arkham origins to complete the collection on PS Plus

Resident Evil Revelations has popped up a few times as a request recently, I'd say with almost 100% certainty we'll see the in December or January and possible Resident evil 6 in the other month, they'll went to raise interest in RE:remake and Revelations 2, no better way than free resident evil games

Great post.

PS+ has historically given us A grade games. Or at the very least, big-budget titles. If that is to change, then Sony need to be upfront about it.

To be fair to them though, I don't expect AAA big-budget titles to be on PS4+ at the minute. The console is still in its infancy. The fact we've got Outlast and have an edition of Driveclub on the way at some stage is pretty good. Trine 2 is also a very, very solid game.

PS3+ got Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3 only a couple of months ago. Arkham Asylum arrived last month. These are still big-budget titles.
I would expect that we may see a launch title such as Knack appear on PS+ at some point in the next 6 months.

I'm not too fussed on AAA PS4 titles not appearing yet because to be honest, I can't think of any that I've passed on that I'd want to play. I'm happy with good incentive indie games. I've played Resogun more than any other game on the console. Would be good if we got say half of season 2 of The Walking Dead or something like that.

My Plus sub ran out a few days ago, this lineup + the Driveclub fiasco = not resubbing yet. I really don't want a bunch of indies I already have on Steam, every single month.

I like indie games too, but retro games not so much. Just feel like that's all played out from the last 30 years of gaming.

I don't "expect" anything, and I'm as fed up as anyone with spoilt people who rant on about how Sony has let them down and "THEY'RE GOING TO LOSE THIS CUSTOMER" because the games weren't what they wanted, but I'm usually quietly disappointed.

That said, I think a lot of it comes from having a PS4 and feeling it's underused. I was expecting the free games to be impressive, if not AAA. Most of them look like they'd comfortably run on my SNES (which sits under my telly still), which kind of defeats the object of getting a next-gen console.

If I spent more time back on my PS3 playing the oodles of games I have stacked up on that then maybe it wouldn't be as noticeable...

I no longer expect anything either. I don't really even look now to see what's coming.

Dear god......the PS+ games are just rubbish now.
I joined just under a year ago and was thrilled with the games I was getting, at least for a couple of months.

All that seem to get put out now are cheap indie games, and cr*p that doesn't sell.
This model of needing a PS+sub to play PS4 online seems to now be showing itself for what it is.....a revenue stream that requires less effort from Sony than when online play was free.

I'd rather get 1 decent game on each platform than 2-3 rubbish 8-bit games month on month.....

I know people think the standard of PS+ games has declined, but think yourselves lucky you're not on Xbox Live. Thay've had Crimson Dragon as one of their games for 3 months in a row.

I knew the model wasn't going to last for long. I am not a fan of subscription services on mostly anything these days. Kindle, Movies or streaming Music. But I think subscription for games is one of the worst models ever!

And now they are testing PS Now, god help us!

EA provide a far better service for the XBO, sadly you still need Gold to use it.

Makes you wonder if they're holding back on games, so they can then "rent: them to us?

WOW is it me? I've just looked at the list of next months games, not heard of one of them!

The ps+ money that Sony gets must go straight to to other divisions. There's no way they're spending it on games for us, or network infrastructure.

Do they need to tho ? We're all paying for ps+, but say we all decided not to. None of us could play online games, so the options are to resub, or move to Xbox, who have shit games on their service too, but maybe a better network infrastructure. Of course that would mean maybe selling a ps4 which we'll all lose money on, so are we really going to do that.

So what do Sony do ? They shipped 3.5 million ps4s over the summer which was well into crap ps+ games territory. They're outselling the competition, so why bother spending more money, just to give us free games. What would they gain from that ? More customers ? Is it worth spending millions of dollars to try and win over a few more people ? I'd say if their sales were to decline and MS were to take a good leap then they could offer Knack, Killzone or a Lego game to turn their fortunes around. Maybe they're keeping the good games up their sleeve until they need to bring out the big guns. Because they don't need to offer them yet.

I don't mean to defend Sony, as I do think the ps+ offerings are gank the past 6ish months, with the odd good game in there like Velocity or Batman AA. I'm just trying to think why would they offer better. Last year they gave out excellent games, but they had a new console on the way, and wanted to get people on side. Which they did, whether ps+ offerings had anything to do with that or not.

If that is their strategy Yuffie then its a pretty lousy one, not so much the withholding games but not investing in network infrastructure, that's the core of this generation of machines.

But Sony only has a relatively small set of servers to look after. When I say that, I mean they don't have dedicated servers for all the games on their platform, like Evolution have the servers to run Driveclub, not Sony.

That was just me speculating about why Sonys ps+ offerings have been so displeasing of late. But certainly their servers do need to be looked at. One of the commenters over at IGn commented on an article saying the PSN has gone down 27 times in the past month. I'm not sure what constitutes going down, or if he was blowing smoke out of his arse, but it has gone down a nice bit lately.

And I agree that online is the core of this generation, everything is moddeled around it. They need a strong network infrastructure.

Btw, Sony put the US November ps+ offering on the US blog but has since removed it.

Maybe they're thinking about changing it.

To be fair, I see a lot of praise for Binding of Isaac so it's one I'll give a go anyway.

I wonder if we'll see any full retail games next month on Plus to celebrate 20 years of Playstation, Christmas & the Playstation Experience event

I have until Jan to decide whether to renew the sub. I much prefer XBL, even without the free games, XBL is just a far better experience.

Yeah I got it too. It does only mention three games tho.

The poor Playstation blog. Every new story is getting hijacked by people complaining about the ps+. Novembers lineup may not be popular but if they put up a blog post about the upcoming lineup then it would make the other posts a lot less negative. People would at least have a place to vent.

Still no blog post today!! This is very strange and kind of suspicious. I've never know them withold full confirmation this close to the games being issued. I too had the e-mail. It only had three of the games mentioned, the Zombie one I hadn't noticed on the US list.

I'm still pissed off with the 2.0 update having jkilled rest mode. I've tried the fix and it doesn't work for me (did on the first try after, but not since). Whoever is in charge of communications at Sony EU needs a good kick up the backside. I don't care if something is broken so much when I am kept up to date with what is being done to fix it. We've seen this approach on DriveClub, so really think Sony need to stand up and communicate with their customers much better than they currently do.

Strange there is still no confirmation of the PS+ titles yet from the EU Blog. I hope they are still arriving Wednesday and this hasn't pushed them to next week.

Well the US should be getting theirs today so if they do, then we should get ours tomorrow.
