Is all the + content and discounted stuff in the + section of the store?

I was wondering if other things like DLC for Uncharted and stuff may have discounts but not featured in the + store?
The discounts are only on the things that they pick out for that month to have discounts on. Maybe one month they will have the Uncharted stuff, only they know.

OMTT: Surprised myself that that works, thought it would be locked to the one MAC address or something

Do existing saved game files work with it?
Mine certainly did It has recognised my existing progress in the story levels - glad I didn't delete my game save when I traded in the game.

I traded the game in back i 2008, and I'm glad to have it back - I forgot how good it was. I'm tempted to get the Pirates DLC aswell now.

Just a thought. Could they possibly return OtherOS to + users ??

I mean a + user is highly unlikely going to want to hack their machine when they have all that content coming, or would someone gladly pay this and still go and hack the machine.

Would this cause more trouble at mill, since I guess a lot of folk are slowly getting over the fact its missing ??

The LBP plays and saves fine. My nipper was on it like a flash after school!!

Saves work fine, DLC is all there no difference, no patches, no problem.

Shiny Badge Shiny Badge

the Plus sign really shows off your PSN ID I think

Just downloaded the latest firmware to my second PS3 in my bedroom & the PSN+ is active on both my consoles & the downloads work on both too. Wasn't sure if it would work or not, or if you'd have to pay twice
The only thing I've found that won't work on more than one PS3 is the auto download and update thing, when you switch it on a second machine it tells you it's already switched on on the other system, however it does ask if you want to swap which system it is used on.

It's been a bit poor today (for me anyway) it's just downloaded Mod Racers and Heavy Rain demos. Shame it doesn't sync with your trophies and it would realize I own both of them already and the demos are just wasting time and energy downloading.

Paul.

Oh and cookie, I just looked on the store and it says 'free' for Wipeout, but if you read more, it says 'until your subscription ends'
Oops my bad

I double checked and you're right

I would have thought if they went that route, that they wouldn't have a leg to stand on, legally.

Taking something away that was an original "free" feature, and they bringing it back asking people to pay for it. Hmmm, doubt that would sit well at all.

As the leap year bug hasnt been fixed for otherOs users they can probably take their console back for being defective.

LBP is free until about the 3rd of August I think.

I love + - I would never have even looked at Wipeout before, and since playing it last night, I love it!!!

Best £35 I spent!

Look earlier on this thread for a website that emails you codes for PSN - £17.95 each and I got mine within 20mins. You have to email them after you bought them with your telephone number and they call you to verify it to prevent fraud, but they only do this on the first sale.

They also asked me if I knew why so many people were buying PSN cards today as it's the busiest day he has ever had! I had to explain + to him! I also sent him a link to read up on it.

I think the website was 'electronicfirst' or something, another DS user posted it here last night.

As far as I can see there is ZERO incenive for me to get this right now.

I already have LittleBigPlanet, WipeoutHD, Destruction Derby and Age of Zombies.

Zen Pinball and Medievil arrive on August 4th, so will think about it again then

I have around 20 PS3 PSN titles, my major concern is that I could find these are the ones offered free evry month, so I'll get very little value for money.

I would also put me off buying future PSN games - I would be really pee'd off if I bought something only for it to be free a short while later.

You don't want a years worth of free 15 year old games and 2 year old DLC ? Why ever not?

I bought my PS3 for Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 etc. . .not . . Destruction Derby circa 1996 LMAO!

I understand what people are saying:

£40 on Xbox gets you online play.
£40 on PSN gets you free games free DLC etc.

Therefore if you'd to pay for online play on PS3 (which you don't) then you'd be getting everything on XBOX live, the charge to play online and as a PSN exclusive extra all the free games, discounts etc. Live offers none of that and so PSN+ is MUCH BETTER VALUE THAN XBOX LIVE.

However, the main point of the £40 charge is the ability to play online. . .you already get that with PS3 for free so there's really no point of getting PSN+ as even though it's better value than live - it's not compulsory (as live pretty much is if you're a hardcore gamer).

Same for me, at least it gives me an excuse to see how the service works out in the next few months before I jump on board...

I've asked it before but never really got an answer - what exactly is a 'push' demo?!

a push demo is one that gets automatically downloaded (or 'pushed') to your console without you physically going into the store and downloaded.

Via a new XMB option available to PSN+ subscribers, you set up your PS3 to switch on at a pre-determined time overnight (eg between 2am & 4am or between 4am & 6am). The PS3 will download these 'push' demos and will also scan your system for recently played games before downloading any game updates that may be available. Following installation of available demos and game updates, the PS3 automatically switches off.

The next time you log on to your PS3, you will receive an on-screen notification letting you know if there have been any automatic downloads, and detailing exactly what they were.
