That's early.

Are any of them meant to be any good?

Super Time Force is meant to be very good, Was planning to buy that when it came out.

I saw a lets play of Xeodrifter a few months back & thought it looked interesting & the guy playing it (Colin Moriarty) has since said he thought it was awesome so i'm looking forward to giving that a go.

I voted for Grow Home, so happy with that. Pleased about STFU too. Looks fun and I probably would have paid for it.
Looking forward to Twisted Metal if the handling is right it should be great fun. Loved it on PS2.
LA Mulana is an odd choice. I already have it and enjoy it but it is really old school. Very vague about where to go and what to do. Good on the Vita though.
The other two look pretty decent and certainly worth a go.
I am glad I am a fan of 2D platformers though.

Please that Grow Home won the vote as that looked the most interesting of the games on offer to vote for. Also like the look of Teslagrad but yet again another indie heavy month.

With Xbox Live offering games like Tomb Raider Remastered and Assassins Creed Black Flag recently PS+ is really falling behind with its indie dominant offerings.

Depends on your point of view.

I already got Tomb Raider free on PS3 and Asassin's Creed free on Xbox 360 so both of those coming to Xbox One recently mean jack shit to me.

Different people like different stuff.

Problem is Sony currently only cater to people who like indie games. I like a bit of indie but also like some bigger retail titles which have sadly gone AWOL on PS+ since PS4.

I would be happy to see any retail games at this point even games I own or don't want.

Sony should spend less money on exclusive 3rd party DLC deals / advertisement deals and invest in some cash into PS+.

I got it free on ps+ on PS3 too but I was about to buy it in the sale the other day.

I suspect we'll get it next year before RotTR comes to PS4.

I think this'll be the first month in a while where I won't be adding or downloading any of the games

The advantage of Indie games is that they can offer more new releases, rather than older retail games which a significant number of people will have already played. (Or, even worse, bought just weeks before in a sale which is exactly what's happened with Tomb Raider, with a lot of Xbox One owners moaning about it.)

Just looking back at the past 6 months, of the apparent "Holy Grail" of retail games that Xbox have added to GWG, i already owned Rayman Legends, Metro Last Light, Metro 2033, MGS Ground Zeroes, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, Crysis 3, Plants Vs Zombies, Thief..... oh, and Tomb Raider which they have given away TWICE.

Not a problem I've had with the PS+ offerings.

Until the libraries of the new-gen consoles broaden, i think they are best to have an emphasis smaller, new releases giving players a better chance of dodging those bullets, otherwise these freebies just feel like hollow gestures.

A gem like Rocket League or yet another copy of Tomb Raider? I know which I'd rather have.

I bought MGS Ground Zero on sale weeks before it was added to PS+, Limbo appeared on PS+ on PS3 and I already owned Dead Nation. So the same problem seem to crop up on both platforms.

I would certainly take a double dip on Tomb Raider. I gave Rocket League a go and its not my thing, a couple of the other offerings that month were of more interest to me.

I wouldn't exactly call the Xbox line up the "Holy Grail" but they are starting to filter some retail games into their line up. All I want is a bit of variety on PS+ and not just filled with indie games each month. I subscribed for the retail games when I got Plus and hope that they will make a return.

For me one double dip game which I will play again is better than 4 games I probably wont even play. It about getting something I might like rather than just getting a large quantity of games I don't like. I find myself playing less and less PS+ games each month.

Because it comes on a disc?
P's. I'm not defending indies as I'm waiting killzone sf myself.

WTF is a proper game

At least Knack isn't an old Amiga game with 16bit graphics.

That's certain people's perception, sadly.

As far as I'm concerned a game is a game. I don't give a damn about the delivery method, presentation style, who made it or what it costs. I just want them to be entertaining above all else.

No offence, but I simply don't understand that mindset. Sorry.

I just don't understand the fascination with the 16bit style. I like the indie games which try something different rather than just remaking an old 16bit game.

The issue I have with too many smaller titles is I play a lot of these smaller games on my phone. I like a big screen experience on my console which is why I would like to see some larger scale games on PS+.

I don't understand why only indie game on PS+ is better than indie and retail size games or why catering to half your PS+ subscribers rather than all of them is some how better.

I think something to perhaps consider when it comes to what games to come PS+ is that the developer has to agree to it & Sony apparently pays them an undisclosed figure to get it on PS+.

Also Sony apparently has the figures on how many people buy these games, how many download them off ps+ & how many play them, for how long & on what device so they may well have data that shows these types of games are far more popular than people think.

As i've said in the past the games were getting don't really bother me, I've found a lot of them to be fun. Sure retail games would be nice but i've got most of the older retail games (Which would be most likely to come to PS+) that i want already so thats not that big an issue for me.

I think the big AAA games will have already been bought by the majority of PS+ subscribers. For example the likes of Batman and The Witcher 3 have already had a big sell through so it won't have a lot of value. The same will go for Uncharted 4 and MGS 5.

They could give the multi player of say killzone sf away. This would give a boost to the existing online community ( if it's dwindling ) maybe a silly upgrade price (3.99) on the single player..If they can't justify giving full game.

I think we are just showing our age. I bought the pixeljunk game on ps3 and enjoyed it but haven't really bothered with the expanded game we got for free. 5 years ago i would have loved the collection i have but i didn't have access to unlimited streaming tv back then.

Now i usually only play if my mates are online. I was happy with black and white paperboy on the spectrum so these indies are amazing for alot of who console games are aimed at.

Yep, if it's a big game that I wanted to play then I'll have played it by the time it could come to PS+.

I'm happy with the games we've had. The way I see it is that I've played and enjoyed plenty of games that I wouldn't have looked at otherwise.
