Giving us Season 2 is pretty smart as a business sense. As they'll probably see a boost in Season 1 sales over the next month, as there'll be people wanting to play it before starting season 2.

Although from a PS owner point of view it's pretty irritating.

TWD does it follow the series, if it's season 2 then we're on the farm throughout ( IMO the worst season)

Nope.

The game and the to show are both based on the same comic books so there are similarities in locations and stuff, but no, season 1 of the game doesn't follow season 1 of the to show.

It's it's own story, a very good one too. I highly recommend season 1 if it still cheap.

Looking forward to playing through WD S2. I thought S1 was great, just a bit disappointed there is no save transfer.

Magicka 2 looks like it could be a fun coop game as well.

This is one of the best updates in recent months for me. Shame Thief 2 rumour never came to pass for us though.

I'll give magicka a go. Why give season 2 of something? Yeah I'll play that and see if I like it, then go back in time and buy season 1 if I like it.
Its not the first time PS+ has started with a later version. Batman 2 arrived before Batman 1 and Mass Effect 3 appeared before Mass Effect 2. So WD Season 1 might turn up in a year or so

Shame about the lack of platinum, all the other telltales games seem to have them.
Seems that the invizimals game is the psp version. Thats really poor in my opinion.

Still doesn't make sense to me. Season 1 was on Gold last month, so It would actually make more sense for Telltale to have put S1 on PS+ too in the hope it led to a boost in sales of S2 across PS4 and XB1.

Here's my thinking:

If Sony offer us Season 1, then you'll happily play it and then just wait for Season 2 to appear on Plus. Telltale make bugger all money because this game isn't DLC heavy.

If Sony offer us Season 2, you might feel like you want to play Season 1 first, you find out its currently on sale so you snap it up before Season 2 comes out. Telltale sell some extra copies of S1 that they wouldn't have previously.

I'm just guessing. That's what's going on in my head.

Just checked Cex for prices

Season 1 £22
Season 2 £15

I'm assuming season 2 is cheaper due to ps plus announcement. Where can I get season 1 cheaper?

I may consider getting it, although I've just started the uncharted series and have black ops 3 coming out soon

They're not long games. You'll have platniumed S1 in about 10 hours.

Please tell me this is sarcasm?

If we're now at the stage where we're refusing to play top quality games, given to us for free, because they don't give us a group of pixels in the shape of a trophy at the end of it, then we might as well all pack up and go home now.

Yes, there was a sense of sarcasm in there. I have my eyes on other games which appeal more to me in this current month and I may come back to TWD later on down the line like I did with Infamous First Light.

Having said that I think your words are harsh. I don't judge people on what they play, how they play or why they play. I'm looking forward to playing Black Ops3 multiplayer and no matter how brilliant I am at the game I'm never going to platinum it, I enjoy the fun that MP brings to it.

There are games like Until Dawn where you play it, finish it and to keep you coming back you decide to platinum the game to give you a sense of achievement, and end point. If you want to judge someone on how they game or dictate what appeals to people gaming then yes, you should pack and go home.

Haven't we already had Mass Effect 2 as part of the PSN+ freebies?

Nope.

We had Mass Effect 3 in April 2013 but that's all from that series.

Will pick up TWD 2 and give it a try over the weekend.

Sure it's been asked on here recently but just wanted to check. Once you download a game, if you delete it can you go back and download it again for free anytime you want? Just want to make sure as running quite low on space so might take the free edition of Driveclub off for the time being to free up some space.

Yeah, you're free to buy / download games, delete them, redownload them as much as you want.

When you buy a game you will find it in your library, for whenever you want.

If you want to claim your PS+ games without actually downloading them then you should do it via the web store. Just "buy" them all there and then download whenever you want. It might help manage your console memory.
