I notice XB1 are getting Thief next month. They seem to be doing a better job of getting some larger retail games onto their service. Hopefully we will see something like this from Sony. Last year we got inFamous standalone DLC.

Shouldn't be too long until we find out what Sony will be offering for Christmas.

Rumour I heard was Little Big Planet 3 and Angry Birds.

Oh I'd like LBP, even tho I can get it for sub €20 if I really wanted it.

Angry birds is an abomination and should have been let near consoles but the kids might like it.

LBP3 would be good. I have really overlooked that game. I really enjoyed LBP1, LBP2 was meh, but as a PS+ freebie three would be welcomed.

When you say you have had Thief three times do you mean between PS+ and XBLive? I don't think Sony should make any decision on what to add based on what Xbox offers. I have only had Thief once and would be happy to see the next gen version available on PS+.

Aren't there any indie games to give away?

LBP3 was developed by Sumo Digital so it's bound to be good. I'd be very happy with that being a December PS+ game.

That new Tom Clancy game is in the free to play section for this weekend.

Gauntlet looks half decent although similar to magika and lara croft.

Not too pushed on the PS4 offerings.

Gauntlet has good decent reviews and I remember playing a version on my Amstrad back in the 80s.

Will probably download both PS4 games, SSX and Rocketbirds. Already have Freedom Wars and FPS games are not for me.

Quite happy with this month to be honest.

Used to play Gauntlet 2 a lot of my C64 back in the day so quite interested in jumping into this newer version to see how it compares.
Its a similar story with King's Quest's, I remember playing it way back.. Was probably the 1st adventure game that I ever played so will download it on PS4 & again see how it compares.

For PS3 I've already got Blood Dragon on my PC so not too bothered about that, I used to enjoy SSX back on PS2 so i'll grab that as well.

Really excited about Freedom Wars been part of the Vita line-up, Was a game I was planning to pick up & Rocketbirds looks kinda fun as well.

Oooh. Decent month. I have gauntlet but it is good fun for those who don't have it. Wasn't a big fan of the grim reaper in it but that aside it's fun.
King quest is a bit of a naff one. Episode one of a multi chapter game is an odd one to include.
Happy with the vita stuff. Freedom Wars was the closest to a triple A game the poor handheld has had for ages. Looking forward to trying it. I have Rocketbirds and it is decent.
I have SSX too. Whilst it does quite capture the sheer joy of Tricky or Ssx3 it is still fun.
Looking forward to trying Blood Dragon too.

So, yeah, pretty decent.

Don't have a PS3 or Vita and this month's PS4 offerings don't interest me in the slightest. Save my renewal money for another month

There have been worse months, at least there's Blood Dragon. SSX would've been good too if I didn't already own it. The PS4 offerings don't interest me.

I bought a PS4 last month but haven't stumped up for Plus yet. I will at some point but I'm not a big online player and have too many unplayed games to worry about the free stuff.

Thought there might have been a big game on there for Christmas and to mark the PS4's second anniversary, but sadly not. Surely they could have had launch games such as Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall or Black Flag on PS+ by now? Maybe even Infamous: Second Son, which is about 20 months old itself. Three of those games are Sony published, so rights aren't an issue. The PS4 offerings seem to getting worse if anything.

Oh well no need to restart my subscription next month.

Bought a physical copy of Freedom Wars earlier in the week. Bugger.

Looks like I'll be trading that in pretty sharpish.

Gauntlet looks like it could be a fun co-op game.

But after getting the full Walking Dead package last month now been offered the first part of Kings Quest is disappointing.

Really disappointing that this is the big Christmas update. It seems Sony really dont care about PS+ content now they have included the online tax MS seem to be doing much better with the Live games they offer.

I wonder if anything will be given away at the Playstation Experience this year. EA giving us Plants verses Zombies is one of the best freebies on PS4 and better than most PS+ offerings.

I quite like this month. Kings Quest was a family favourite back in the 80s, so I was keen to see what they've done with it. Loved FC3&4, never got Blood Dragon so happy there too. SSX is always fun and the wife likes that one too.

Which "big Christmas update" is that then? There's no such thing. It's December..... just another month.

Sounds bliss this world with a December without the bombardment of Christmas..

Last year Sony provided two months worth of content updates which included that DC fighting game and inFamous. This year we get part of a game.

Actually they announced 3 month's games and they did it for November's announcement. Nothing to do with Christmas. It was more to do with getting day 1 PS4 owners to re-sub.

The content wasn't particularly extraordinary either. A port of a not-great PS3 beat 'em up and a bit of DLC.

They have never set a precedent for doing anything special at this time of year, so I don't really get what's to be more upset than usual about.
