You don't want a years worth of free 15 year old games and 2 year old DLC ?
Why ever not? ![]() I bought my PS3 for Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 etc. . .not . . Destruction Derby circa 1996 LMAO! The trouble for PSN + is that the good games you get for free, are more likely to be already purchased by you anyway. Unless they are gonna give you some latest content, which I doubt. At least the PSone classics, Minis and PSN games you buy separately have no "expiry date" !! |

It's only £40!
£35 if you buy PSN cards. Just because we got some old stuff this month and old stuff next month, doesn't mean it's gonna be old stuff every month! Someone might have been excited about destruction derby. I know if Syphon Filter or Crash was given away I'd be happy! Retro games are cool too. I rarely buy things on the store, and there's not many games coming out this year that I want now, so + could keep me going all year if I play the games they give me each month. I haven't been dissapointed so far. Been playing Wipeout and Age of Zombies tonight, love them, and before yesterday, I wouldn't have even touched them. Not forgetting the free little big planet we're getting too. For the price of a new release game, it's not really anything to grumble about, but if you buy lots from the store already then maybe this isn't for you. However, new things always start slow...they might give people who signed up for 12mths something special in a few mths, or they may just giveaway some DLC. |

For me it's about buying what you want and when. I'll buy Monkey Island 2:SE on July 7th. I'll buy Journey when it comes out. I doubt it will be part of PSN + for a long time, if at at all! It just seems this "premium" service is value for money for people on a budget who don't mind trying out a range of games over a year, and actually would not buy much from the store in the first place! However, it's early days yet, it may improve considerably, but it might be at the cost of how the existing store works now. BTW: a question for plus members: if you see that a new PSOne classic has arrived on store that you really want, would you now still pay the full price, or wait for it to arrive as PSN+ content? |

I went for the 90 day sub since I had about £12 in my wallet. Seem to be able to access all features, and looks amazing. Well chuffed with Wipeout HD, and glad I coudl see what minis looked like too.
Don't seem to be able to download LPB - Is this for 12 month members only? |

Yeah via email you get the codes. If it's your first time, then you have to reply to their confirmation email with a phone number, and then they call you to verify the transaction. It's only the first time you buy from them that they do this. LBP is only available with the 12 month sub. |

I'm not buying anything from the store now for the next 12 months incase it's + discounted.
I was gonna buy super stardust complete game for £2.39 on there last night as it's on offer, but then I thought as a + customer, I could get it in a couple of mths if they give it away free. |

I have gone for the years subscription - hopefully it will pan out okay and be a good value proposition. I hope they offer more of the killzone 2 map packs for free. Have to say that start the game dynamic theme was total pants though. |

Well, I decided to sign up to the 12 month deal... we'll see how it goes over the year to see whether it's worth doing again next year. Downloading LBP at the moment, it always looked incredibly boring for my tastes and has never interested me, but its free so lets see if I'm proven wrong.
One minor question though - and apologies if it's been discussed already - am I correct in saying that I am free to download any stuff in the PSN+ section at any time? I mean, I read somewhere that you get 4 minis a month, 1 PSOne a month (or something like that) and what I don't want to do is download Destruction Derby, for example, and then find next week they put something worthwhile on there but I can't download it because my one PSOne game was taken on Destruction Derby? |

LBP is interesting at first, but it's VERY british which put me off. |

Hey I bought the 12 month sub...But it does not say it is downloading anywhere. However it shows a plus cross next to my name.
Does this mean I am officially a PSPlus owner? |

You must download them in the month they are offered. You can delete them and redownload again anytime you are still subscibing. If you dont download in the month then you loose acess to them at the free/cheaper rate.

LBP is ruined by the sluggish and arkward controls, not enjoying one little bit.
The auto downloads are excellent, poked fun at by people who are so ignorant to see any benefits. Demos, game and system updates all done in the middle of the night when you get the best download speeds, all installed and ready to go the next day, nearly worth the 39.99 on it's own. I'm playing demos of good games that I wouldn't have otherwise downloaded cos I never had the time to wait around. |

ONE QUESTION:
When the 12 month trial runs out, and I dont want to renew it, will I get charged for everything or just take them off? |

It's a shame it's LBP they supply as part of PSN+, as I've had it for ages already. If it was another game, I'd probably get it, as it is.. not sure yet.
