My sub ran out a couple of weeks ago, not re-upped yet, will wait till Jan now I guess. Actually it took me at least a week before I noticed it wasn't there, not a good sign.

Ahhhhhh, so my 12 month voucher turned up today - however I managed to damage the code when removing the film on the top

I thought that you were suppose to peel it off - it doesn't actually say anywhere that you need to use a coin.

Have emailed Sony support but i'm not expecting a response this time of year.

So I have a choice, spend another £40 on a membership or not play online over the xmas holidays.

Has anyone else been able to play online after their sub ran out? It's been 3 months since mine expired and I'm still able to play online. Don't get any other perks like cloud storage, store discount, free games or auto downloads though.

There's a nice Xmas theme up for free at the moment.

I've spent hours and hours playing various Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands over the years so i finally decided to bite the bullet and get a real guitar and Rocksmith 2014.
I wish I'd done it years ago, it's soooo much better (but also much harder), I can actually play most(90%) of Next Girl by The Black Keys and (85%) Song 2 by Blur and I only picked up a guitar for the first time 4/5 weeks ago.
Just imagine the sense of accomplishment and achievement you get from completing a song on GH/RB and x1000 when you start to nail a song for real on the guitar. I honestly cannot recommend it enough, I'm sure I've developed some bad habits along the way but I also know my way about a guitar now, I'm much improved at fretting and my string selection(without looking) is getting better all the time.

It's a bit tougher on your fingers though, I now have quite tough calluses on the fingers of my left hand.

I had defended Kenny throughout and didn't really want to kill him as he is the character I had been with the longest due to been in season 1. But I also liked Jane and got a Last of Us vibe from her. I felt with her story of her sister and the way she came back to the group for Clem she had found a new sister. But the idea she had killed/lost/left the baby made me wonder, but Kenny had really been losing the plot throughout so I made the call to save Jane and kill Kenny as that seemed to best route for survival. Then Jane admits she tricked you and that pissed me off, that she had cause me to kill an old friend. But in the end I could see were she was coming from. I think the fact Kenny said I made the right call shooting him helped me forgive Jane.

Overall I really enjoyed Season 2. Probably one of the best PS+ games I have had on PS4.

I meant to include more of my last post in the spoiler tags, sorry ”

I didn't want to shoot Kenny. Like you, I defended him the whole game too. But it got to a point where all the fighting got to me so I just went it alone. Everyone was just bickering the whole game and I got sick of their bullsh1t.

It's a pity Luke died, I liked him.

Also that baby is tough as nails. He got dropped quite a few times and he's only a couple of days old.
”

Just finished this as I decided to play Season 1 first. Had the same ending as Hotbird.

Spoiler
The end decision of who to kill wasn't even the hardest of the season for me. I'd had ups and downs in Season 1 with Kenny and the way he was with Lee at times. Was clearly losing the plot come Season 2 and couldn't help but feel there was no way back for him.

Tougher call was Sarah or Jane funnily enough (I chose to not jump down to try to save Sarah, she was dying anyway in fairness whatever happened but I knew they were building to have that decision made). Overall turns out I'd have saved Jane in any situation. Wasn't crazy about many of the characters in this season. Clem is obviously great and same goes for Jane. Was happy to see Luke die.

Really hope we get a chance to kill Bonnie in Season 3. Expecting a few returns in Season 3

They haven't been announced yet as far as I'm aware. They're due next Tuesday so it should be any time now.

Thanks for posting. Hardware Rivals seemed a likely one, didn't try the beta but heard positive things about it.
Grim Fandango is not for me really.

If thats true then I really need to stop buying ps4 indie games. Its at least every other month theres a game I've already bought. I seem to be really good at picking future ps plus games

Doesn't mention any other games though, PS3 or Vita.

Got the email too. Enjoyed the beta for Hardware Rivals but like Nedubiz, I don't think Grim Fandango is for me. So regardless of what else is announced, I'm happy - there's at least one game on it that I'll enjoy.

I'm quite pleased with Grim Fandango Remastered as i've wanted to play that pretty much since the original PS1 release but for whatever reason just never actually got round to buying it.

Hardware rivals looks like it could be fun so I'll download that & have a go to see whats its like.

You asked for Triple-A PS4 titles on PS+ and we’ve delivered. Hardware Rivals and Grim Fandango Remastered both have three As in their title

Still don't really see the fascination with people insisting on AAA games, I want good games regardless of if there retail, indie or whatever.

I'd rather a smaller game like Rocket League thats actually really good than a big AAA title like Knack (Something i always seem to see people calling for) thats not really that good.
Additionally for me I already own most of the older big AAA releases which would be most likely to come on PS+ so those coming would be a waste of one of the ps+ slots from my point of view.

In all honesty i've been quite happy with PS+ the past year, Been a lot of games on all of the 3 platforms that i've really enjoyed & there hasn't really been a single month where there hasn't been something that i've really liked.

Just looking at the PS4 games for the year, Infamous first light, The swapper, rogue legacy, transistor, oddworld, valiant hearts, Guacamelee!, unfinished swan, race the sun, rocket league, lara croft, limbo, super time force, xeodrifter, super meat boy & the walking dead s2 were all games i really enjoyed & i'm sure there are a dozen more i forgot to list so for me as i say its been a good year.

Grim Fandango could be good, but overall another disappointment.

Lots of people started subscribing to Plus for the AAA games. When Sony launched the IGC with a big emphasis on AAA games subscriber numbers skyrocketed. The reason people keep calling for AAA is because we have had none.

Even without AAA PS4 games just look at this months line up and you can see how much the service has declined in recent years. On PS3 we have a 6 year old game and a game with a Metacritic score of just 55. It used to be a rule that no games scoring under 70 would get added to the IGC.

Of course we all want good games, what a lot of people are saying is why cant some of those game be AAA. Do all good games have to be indie I just want to see more variety on PS+, rather than only indie games.

Look on the bright side, Playstation Plus games gives people something to whinge about. Which will make them happy.

Starting the year as they mean to go by the look of it. It's increasingly looking that it's now the policy that no retail games will be put on PS+ for PS4. Sony know they can get away with it now that PS+ is needed for online play on PS4.

There have been retail PS4 games put on PS+. The walking dead season 2, MGS ground zeroes, Infamous first light & Injustice: Gods Among Us are a few examples.

I'd also point out that it wasn't as if there was a lot of big AAA retail games on PS3 over the 1st 1-2 years of PS+, That was something that only really started to become a regular thing over the 1½ years prior to the PS4 release at a point when the PS3 had a big catalog of older games to pick from.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...8PAL_region%29

Also remember that Sony have to get permission from developers & publishers in order to put a game on PS+, They can't just pick whatever they want.
