Meh another easily missable month again for February.

The games to vote on aren't that exciting either.

Whilst PS Plus has been far from great, you've missed out on quite a few gems, it costs nothing to try the games you know!

I'd love to know what a "proper" game is.
Whilst my comment is mainly in jest - you'll see in the main I am very supportive of what I have got from PS+ in my previous posts - I would suggest games that your average gamer would actually of heard of.

I look daily on more than one gaming website and have heard of none of those options. Therefore it is pointless me voting on them.

I have liked games I personally not heard of before they hit PS+ - Catherine and Transistor being two.

I wonder how many have actually heard of any of those three. Maybe if they are also PC gamers but not dedicated console gamers like myself.

So we're agreed then. Doesn't matter if they are games people have heard of or not.

Excellent.

Pithy repartee aside, there's not much point in spending time and money on marketing a game that's going to be "given away" at launch.

Ive only had the PS4 since late November but have been pretty happy with the PS+ games so far - i loved Walking Dead 2 (I hadn't played 1 so had to do them in reverse but was still very impressed), Gauntlet was great and i played it all the way through, I am currently playing Grim Fandango as have never bothered with PC games so missed it all those years ago.

The online side of PS+ is a no-go for me, i got Star Wars Battlefront but can't be bothered trying to play against people who obviously do nothing but play all day every day, very disappointing, so won't bother with that again, but overall it has been a positive experience so far, I got the code for just over £32 so it wasn't too bad.

I wish there were better discounts for PS+ though, as i was new to PS4 i got the PS+ linked to me UK account, wish i had done it on my Canadian account now, will probably do that next year.

But take this month's offerings. I have heard of Nom Nom Galaxy, Helldivers, Persona 4 Arena and Lemmings. So it is possible without them being AAA games.

And this is what I mean. 4 I have heard of, 2 I had to look up.

But how can I honestly vote for one of three games I have not heard of?

There's this thing called Google. It's quite handy.

They did some extended videos on the three choices last time with the devs talking about their games. Hopefully they do the same again. From what I've seen so far I am not swayed either way really. Broforce seems to have the momentum though.
Looking forward to Nom Nom Galaxy and Lemmings this month. Already have Helldivers, decent game - tough but fun. Needs to be played in co-op really but with the friendly fire it is a blast.

Is Broforce already available on PlayStation seperately or will it just be via the vote?

The games that don't get chosen will be discounted for plus members for the month i think.

Tried the PS4 games.

I didn't enjoy Nom Nom and Nova and instantly deleted them. Just awful.

Helldivers was ok, not sure I'd play much of it but didn't delete it yet. Might be better suited to the vita.

This isn't really the place for this, but I'm in the process of backing up all my save data to USB and it's just occurred to me that it would be really useful if the PS4 had a 'Select all', for the game saves list, they allow you to do this for the individual game saves so why not the main list.

Also found out the hard way that you can't retrieve your save data from the cloud without PSN+, luckily they were offering a 2 day free trial, so that turned out ok.

Where do we go to make suggestions to Sony with ideas about firmware? A link would be nice, just because I'm lazy

People have been asking for features that the ps3 has for 2 years now and still nothing, they are too busy adding stuff that makes no real difference.

Yeah, same here. Lemmings doesn't even come up when you go to the monthly games section on the web store. Maybe tomorrow

Wanted to get into Nom Nom but I just suffered complete brain freeze and couldn't follow the second tutorial at all. Will have another try sometime.

The way I see it, £39.99 for ps+ for a year = £3.33 a month = £1.11 a game.

Even if I don't play it again, I got my £1.11 worth as I was playing for an hour. I had a pint earlier for £4 which lasted all of 10 minutes, puts it into perspective.

They actually give away 6 games a month, so one could argue they are as little as 56p each.

The way I see it, €49.99 for ps+ for a year.

In 2015 I enjoyed these ps+ games

Infamous first light
Valiant hearts
MGS ground zeroes
Rocket league
Lara Croft & Temple of Osiris
The Walking Dead Season 2

Plus a load of PS3 titles that my niece and nephew download to their PS3s, plus all the cloud saving and stuff, I get the value from my subscription.

So this month, and from the above list, half of last year was utter garbage for me, but it's still worth it overall.

I always add them to my library, but have never downloaded a single one!
