PS+ may still offer value for money, but it doesn't offer anywhere near the same value for money it once did.

I think for many people they have no option but to praise because it's required for online play so rather than moan they just say it's great.

I always add them to my library, but have never downloaded a single one!
The way I see it. A few years ago I was playing online on a fairly poor network for free. Now I'm paying 35/year and looks like same poor network. |

It's the truth. It's required for many games or at least to get your moneys worth out of the games.
When it comes to the "free" games I just think people need to keep their expectations in check. |

It's good to see Grid Auto sport has been added to this months PS Plus line up for the PS3. I love this game as I had it for the Xbox 360 so will be getting a new PS Plus 3 month subscription so I can get it again. Much better than Grid 2, this is more like the first Grid game with the focus being on circuit and street racing.
Will also give my trophy list a boost

I think I have found a new game for Sony. You have a free game - even a AAA one - but only if you find where we have stored it on the internet. To make things harder it gets moved every hour.
They made it far too easy to find Helldivers on Vita - I only had to use the search function. (disclaimer - this is a sort of joke BTW). |

. I only stay paying for plus because its required for online, but there is no way I will defend paying for online play on a network which has seen no really improvements over the free service we had last generation.

I have a feeling that Sony will drop the 2 free Vita games sometime this year, and at that stage we'll see a rise in quality of the PS3 and PS4 games. And then maybe next year drop the free PS3 games.

I would rather they drop the free PS3 games. |

What the heck happened to the GRID series? It has gotten progressively worse. I remember really enjoying the first gameso much so I bought 2 at release which turned out to be a mistake, it was bad. Yet Autosport has outdone it by being the worst of the lot. I wasted about 60 seconds on this steaming pile.

Is there any way to see what game saves you have stored online without having PS+? I was thinking of redownloading Witcher 3 & getting the DLC expansions but only if I still had the save from last summer as I had completed the game. I'd get the cheapest subscription or a trial to download the save

I hope the next GRID game goes right back to the GRID roots, a bit like CM have done with Dirt Rally. Perhaps call the next game something like GRID Toca

GRID 2 completely lost me because it (like Wipeout) got too obsessed with, one v one, time trialling, point to point, drift challenges etc. when all I wanted to do was race.
In my opinion at least 50% of the career should be straight circuit racing against several opponents, which is what the first GRID did so well. I'm not sure if I'll give Autosport on PS3 a go because Project Cars does the trick nicely and is on PS4... Bugs aside PC is a fine racing game. |

How long has it been since you last had PS Plus? Saves are only retained for 6 months after a sub has lapsed.

My brothers plus ran out and to see him til he had the money he purchased a month from store. Took the money but didn't give him his plus. He's contacted sony and even though they can see they took the money they still want a screen shot of his bank before honoring it.
Greedy ****s. |

As a big racing fanatic, I'm very excited about this year

Broforce has a strong lead in the voting. Shame, it looks the least appealing to me. But that's democracy for you! Shame they can't give people the choice. All three are available pick the one you want.
They have released longer trailers etc to help inform your voting decision now. |

I backup my own saves to USB now, a tiny, barely noticeable 16GB Sandisk. My Plus days are over, well, for the foreseeable . . . edit: just read a later post, you might not what a 2 day trial then |

Yeah Broforce looks to have a sizeable lead, judging by the size of the bars on the voting page.
I think it's a shame too, I'm really looking forward to the 2nd game now, whatever it might be. |
