Sony are gonna need to add something of use to us core users who buy all the addons and games they want as soon as they are released.

No you only get them whilst you are a + member.

Its clear that so far PSN+ is only for peeps that have hardly bought anything from the store I'm sure though that in time what's on offer will improve alot, as even the PS3 itself has improved loads since I've owned mine through upgrades.

Why are people asking for PS2 games on the store when around 30million PS3's out there incapable of playing them?

Cos the PS3 would emulate the PS2 downloads I guess.

You know a strange thing with auto download patches??

If you dont happen to read up on the net of new features and incoming patches then you maybe wont realise that the game was updated to include a new feature.

ie. Say they released a patch for uncharted 2 to play custom soundtracks accessable by pressing PS and going to music menu. Game auto patches. Do you realise its there ???

Whereas a patch comes out for me I hunt the net to see what changed.



I dont mean this as a slate at PS+ as such just cause I dont have it but just curious if it flags that there was a patch or does it just silently patch ???

When you turn your PS3 back on after the last auto download, it gives you a screen before it logs into your account detailing all that was downloaded and installed.

It would be a good feature if they didn't push demo's. Twice its downloaded a demo I already had there on my PS3.

I agree about the push downloads though from reading here, especially redownloading demos of games folk already have.

I ended up with Mod racers and heavy rain demos, already tried both ages ago, didn't like em then don't like em now.

Hopefully the next demos will be for new games, not games everyone has bought and finished

Nope. Thats why I have now turned auto updates off. Sony need to fix that soon.

Yeah that would annoy me too, what about all the people with caps on their net connection getting all used up with stuff they don't want.

Well got me psn card and bought +, the games are quite good (cept Destruction Derby)

lol yeah, derby aint a very good game at all! Medievil next month though, looks quite good.

Destruction Derby was a fantastic game when it first came out, I remember playing it for many hours

It probably was...but the graphics are so shoddy lol

I downloaded Destruction Derby the other day & deleted it after 20 minutes play, unbelievably shoddy, even for an early Playstation game. You turn a corner & the camera doesn't even follow you!!

I don't rem DD being that bad. In fact its the only thing I have seen on PS+ that I don't have and would quite like. It is a 15 year old game though, so graphics will not be impressive.

Quite a lot on my friends list with the yellow cross now. I think I counted 17 of the buggers earlier.

Wonder if Sony are happy with the numbers so far, no that they'd say any different.
