Notice one of the replies on the official blog says "The Plus managers here at SCEE are aware of disparity between the US and EU Plus offerings – rest assured your comments aren’t falling on deaf ears."
Maybe good news for you plus members this side of the pond if they DO actually listen. |

They really need to sort this out and create a common region. I mean US plus members got the Kane and Lynch demo last night "exclusive to plus members" yet we have it as normal today. Plenty of US plus subscribers are posting about regretting joining plus already.
Sony seriously do not know what they are doing. |

Sony seriously do not know what they are doing. SCEJ or SCEHK don't bother me as much because they tend to favour different genres of games to the west ( especially Japan). The gulf between SCEE and SCEA is ridiculous though. In this day and age of region free gaming and the digital age et all. This should not be happening. |

I agree. Or at the very very least, lump all the English speaking stores together.
![]() Overall it doesnt bother me. I am not a plus subscriber and I take each demo as a bonus. Also have the US account for anything we miss out on like Pulse. Theres a US war dynamic theme for free this week on the US store. doesnt seem to do a lot mind you. Half the time I download the demos available then dont even bother playing them LOL |

Maybe yours was set up to update before the FW update was published?
It was cool to have patch downloaded though. |

Although the other way about would have been more useful nedubis. The FW is 160 odd MB and the HP patch was 10MB. However at least something worked.

LOL. The other way around would have been better!!
I thought I read that the system checks for updates every other day or something. Darobi - might be worth waiting till tomorrow night and seeing if you get the Lego update |

It all seems very hit n miss with the auto updates, you'd think it would be fairly straight forward but the results from different people seem to suggest otherwise.
Mine has been set for auto download since day one. I didn't get the K&L demo until after i downloaded myself, how hard can it be to switch your system on, see what games you've played, do the updates, download unplayed demos and install FW updates. |

SCEE really need to get to grips and get some commonality with what the US are being offered. Ok, I dont take it and I dont mean to upset those that do but seriously its scandalous.

I've just been reading comments from the SCEE Store moderator on the blog and he says he is passing on the discrepancies of the 2 stores to the PLUS people. Another thing to note though is that he posted "This was my concern too, but Plus users will not be seeing brand new games made available for free via the service as far as I am aware." , this when someone mentioned about Earthworm Jim.
He also posted "I was actually looking forward to the update this week because of those two titles, then I saw what the US released for Plus yesterday and knew it was going to be a long afternoon…" At least this guy understands peoples frustrations even if his superiors dont. |

Perhaps it's time for a second poll?
If you hadn't initially signed up on launch - would you sign up today knowing what you know. |

Hmmm, not sure I would sign up after seeing the Americans get yet another update of goodies. I wanted to fully support this. I don't mind if they aint new release games, just want games and stuff just like the yanks do.

![]() Anyway.... Dont want to keep downing plus since I dont have it but it really is so ill thought out. Couldnt they see these problems arising of not working consistently across the board, the problems with auto downloads etc. Just says to me it was forced through by the sales dept and not the technical dept. |
