Does nobody bother to read the EU blog? It tells you a month in advance what games will be available next month and on what date.

Interestingly enough, my 3 month PSN+ subscription finished a week or so ago. There's no "+" symbol next to my name now, but I still have access to the PSN+ part of the store and it will allow me to download things.
Definitely won't be continuing with it though! |

Good to see the full game trial for the ferrari game this month. Nice to see a new title getting this treatment. I don't have the street fighter games (and don't really like street fighter games) but I will give it a go. I already have critter crunch - so not much for me next month. It is a decent puzzle game - for those who don't have it though Also worth noting that he mentions a new offer on the years subsrciption where you get an extra 90 days free. Quote:
When you sign up for the 365 day subscription on October 6 when the PlayStation Store updates, you get an extra 90 day subscription for free, not to mention all the free games and special offers.

There will also be the full game trial and 50% reduction on Hustle Kings this month.
Not really into pool games, but will be interested to see how this works with the move controller. The graphics on this game look pretty impressive - I mean, I know they are only shiney balls but they are oh so shiney

![]() ![]() only problem with that, is the same as the assasins creed beta. People treat it like a full game and whenever something bad happens, they start moaning without realising they are playing a test phase! So fristrating |

Still "NO" for October.
Oh, and November's offering too. I'd rather just pay for what I want, not what Sony choose to "give" me, It just really annoys me that they try to bribe you by withholding access to demos and betas from non-subscribers. I've lost a lot of respect for Sony over this. |

Do you mind what Sky chose to give you? Do you mind paying for Sky so that you can watch things that other people can't?
I already have Little Big Planet, WipEout HD, Street Fighter HD along with 25+ other PSN games on my hard drive. So PS+ is of little value to me so far Therefore I have zero interest of that side of the offer. But because of Sony's (for ME) flawed business model I am being restricted in the demos and betas I am allowed to use. I feel that is unfair, in my opinion of course. I really don't understand you reference to Sky. If I was so inclined to purchase 10 Blu-rays a month, or able to go to the cinema every week then i wouldn't bother to subscribe to Sky Movies, for example. But at least I have a choice. Whereas I feel Sony is currently taking choice away from me. THAT is my gripe. |

If there was no PS+ then you'd probably still get it when it's officially released and not early. Don't see your problem, you get the demo a week later! As for your psn collection, that's great, but work out how much you spent on all that, then work out what I'll get from paying £40 in a year, and resubscribing the following year. This is why I don't see it as renting games, because if I always subscribe, I'll always have them! I have well over £100's worth of PSN stuff now from just paying £40. |

I do see what you're saying, however, it's like Sky Box Office...you pay £3.95 to watch a movie before regular subscribers get it on Sky Movies.

Sorry, but the cynic in me can't believe that. I don't think it's "early" just delayed for non-subscribers.![]() Quote:

It will cost you £79.98 to do the same. (or £95.92 if you pay every 90 days)I have well over £100's worth of PSN stuff now from just paying £40. Look, I'm happy that some people are making good use of the service. But, I'd much rather they dropped the "free" stuff and gave us £5.00 credit a month that we can spend on WHATEVER WE WANT, I'd sign up for that straight away. |

PSN+ is a bargain for those who like PSN titles, and retro PSOne gaming.
I mean think about it. . .for around the same price as Live you get a whole bunch of Network titles, as well as discounts for the same price that MS customers get just for the "privilege" to access online gaming! If, however, like me you use your PS3 for TODAY, and for the NOW. . .and don't download Arcade titles that often because you stick to the big main PS3 titles then it's unnecessary. |

Yes, but when you pay your £3.95 "premium" for a Box Office movie you know EXACTLY what you are getting. With PS+ you're buying blind. Again, for me, it comes down to value and choice.

I also get to play many other PSN games, PSone games, Mini's, and demos. All of which would have cost me alot more if paying individually, so your comment doesn't really make any sense. You're not forced to subscribe, and you only have to wait 7 days longer for demos. |

If it works for you, then great, I'm not knocking anyone for subscribing. but it's really not for me right now for all the reasons stated. I really didn't look to start an argument, just here to answer the thread title. Will you be getting a PSN+? Answer = No. At least, not yet.

The problem is that I already have purchased a lot of the games that PSN+ offer. If they gave some sort of rebate each time a game came up that you've already bought then fine, but as it stands it would have two effects on me.
1. I'd stop buying games from the PSN for fear that they'd be going on offer soon. 2. I'd feel ripped off every time a game that I'd already bought was put on. |
